That staircase through the rocks..... SO cool! You find some great hiking spots, my friend!

Thanks so much, my friend. Those steps were really cool. I gotta admit I did almost no research or planning on this trip. Other than a few overlooks I marked on the map, it was 5 days of just winging it. We had a great time!

Great video. Particularly like the pasta strainer!! Camping complete with rain. Enjoy your trail-trekking trips. Paul

Tnanks so much!!! Yeah that strainer worked out ok but I can’t necessarily recommend it haha! We never left a little rain slow us down. There’s no bad weather, only bad gear.

Gotta love big dams!

Thanks so much for watching! Yeah Kinzua Dam is supposedly one of the largest in the eastern US. It is impressive and the reservoir is spectacular.

The steps were really cool and an unexpected surprise. We definitely eat good. If you trying to lose weight don’t camp with us lol! Had to improvise on the “strainer” it worked but hope I don’t have to repeat thar one. It was a fun trip thanks for watching this and all the vids!

very cool place... I should have visited there when I lived in OH... Ouch, lots of steps.. Looked like some good eating at camp..

Thanks for watching, my friend! Yeah its a nice place to camp, plenty of great campsites everywhere. Beautiful scenery up there. Yeah despite the nonstop adventure on most trips, we usually gain weight due to all the camp meals lol! The steps were not too bad...worth it for those views!

Your rain scene reminded me of today. Been having a slow rain since last night. Late afternoon now. About time for a cold front to push it out. Tip: Use the lid of your pot to drain the pasta. With a potholder on each side, shift the lid off the edge of the pot a wee bit. Firmly holding the lid in place, tilt the pot so water can drain through the open slit. Practice a few times of just trying to empty the pot with no food in it. Then, try with some boiled potatoes before tackling pasta or peas. Works well! Thanks for sharing all the beautiful fall scenery. Just what I needed on the wet Sunday afternoon. God Bless. 🎄Merry Christmas.

Thanks so much for watching!!! Yes its been a rainy weekend here where I am as well. We needed the rain bad though, was glad to see it...and well it could have been ice or snow lol! Thanks for the tip on the pot. I actually debated trying something similar but not having the benefit of practice I felt better about my paper bowl invention. It was awkward to say the least but it all worked out. I’m thinking about drilling some holes in the lid of the pot as a permanent solution.

Beautiful! You have a phd in camping and camping videos my friend. And that food looked goooood! Did you eat all that by yourself?

Thanks so much for watching, my friend. And thank you for the kind words of phrase. It was a great trip, some good times out there. And yes the food was pretty tasty...at least the few bites I managed to get. I had a hungry preteen son helping me devour the meals.

Enjoyed the video. New tent ⛺️?
@SmellNRoses2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much, my friend! Yeah I picked up this 6 person tent for the trip out west. I needed something dad could stand up in, I didn’t think he’d like all the bending over and crouching down that have to do with my other dome tents. I got it clearance from Mountain Hardware, loving it so far.
