How about connecting encoder to CR30? Is it possible to have "safe hsc" in it? Encoder can have eg 4 pulses per rev - just to know machine is running or not. Ehat fo You think? I was looking for solution but propably using pilz is cheapest way to go to bave safe hsc input...

No, there isn't a way to connecting encoder to the CR30. You would need an intermediate device such as a Pilz or there are some nice Ethernet safety encoders but you would need a safety PLC for them to connect to.

@@TimWilborne so in that case better fully use PILZ system 😥 it's a shame because I was really hoping to use and learn just 1 system (which is also rare in Europe)

This has been on my list to play with, my initial impression is only over serial using modbus but let me play around.
