@r0binzero 2006-2007 Sixers vs Magic: Iverson- 39 points 10 assist, and he hit the game winner Sixers vs Heat(defending champs)- Iverson 31 points 13 assists Philly won 107 to 98. Sixer vs Pacers- Their first loss, Iverson only scores 20 and only has 3 assists They lose to the raptors, but Iverson has 35 points and 10 assists, sharing the ball and scoring too much wasnt the problem. Lets move on to later in the season. First game with Denver: 22 points and 10 assists 60% from the field.

Their next big win was over cleveland, Iverson only had 18pts, but he had 12 assists They go on another win streak like that. vs LAL: 20pts,10 assts, 41 % from the field vs Dallas not nearly as impressive, but Dallas was #1 in the entire league and set a franchise record that season, Denver winning at all was impressive. Iverson scored 22 and had 22 steals, but only shot 39% from the field.

You're right, there is an argument. But for the sake of arguing, I'd put Magic the 4th best PLAYER of all time behind only Kareem, Russell, and Jordan in that order. Look at the rings, look at the records, look at the way he absolutely dominated the game for a straight decade. With that being said, and I didn't mention any other PGs, I think that would make him the best PG by default no? Pass first PG though, Stockton no doubt. But Magic was the best all around by far.

iverson in his prime i think was a better scorer. he has 4 scoring titles to ocars' 1 and oscar did shoot a better percentage but he wasn't as much of a jump shooter, he was 6-5 and drove a lot. oscar is no doubt the better player tho

Sometimes he was started at the 2 but he started his career and finished at the 1. He was in the top 5 of scoring and top 10 in assists nearly every year by the peak of his career.

@r0binzero No it isnt, you dont know basketball obviously. Being a combo guard means you play different positions because you play both well. The 2 guard is the one being set up by the point to take the open shots, Iverson could create shots for others as well as for himself so he played both. Iverson's best games involved 10+ assists as well as 40+ and they were almost always wins. I cant think of one. No stupid non-fans think a guy who scores and creates shots is a ball hog.

@r0binzero Denver beats Orlando 111-110: Iverson- 34pts 7asts 5 stls, 52%fgm. with Melo they go on a 5 game win streak and over tough weston conference teams vs Sac: 24pts, 7 ast, 47%fgm, and 4 stls vs Por: 31pts, 10ast, 40%fgm, and 5 stls vs LAL: he takes only 15 shots because he was shooting poorly from the field, but he had 13 assists in the win, so obviously he could run the point and set up plays vs Phx(2nd best record in the league, 61-21)- Denver wins 131 to 107...

@blacktee31 Being a combo guard is pretty much the same as being a ballhog. Meaning the ball is always in 1 players hands and he decides to score or pass whenever he wants. Statistics go out the window when a players usage rate and touches in a game are sky high above the rest of the players in the league. AI will never be regarded as a point guard by true fans of the game unlike his stupid fans that think crossovers and points are what this league is about.
