is this for the aqa syllabus, they don't specify in the spec about knowing about chromium, copper and cobalt. They do mention Vanadium though. Thanks for the video !

If you turn your auto exposure off, on your camera it should stop the constant lightening and darkening of the video

Thanks I will look into it. It's a HD Logitech camera so there should be loads of help out there on the web as to how to do that.

Don’t think this is for the new spec, as the aqa chemistry guide only mentions Vanadium

thankyou very much. you explain everything of the topic and it would be great if you solve a hard past question after explaining the topic so that the question includes all the crucial points of topic.

+Shakeel Ahmed Thanks very much! I have done videos on exam questions. Here is a video that includes transition metals kzbin.info/www/bejne/pYPGe4B9oLl3jZI many more to follow too.

THANKYOU SO MUCH! Really appreciate it :) are you going to be any on ligand substitution? and also I can't get my head around electrode potential calculations, whether it's feasible or not because there are SO many ways of doing it and it has totally confused me. I really don't want to lose crucial marks in my exam. Thank you once again :)

Sonil Zaki Yes, more transition metal videos to follow. This will have to be next weekend due to work commitments. With regards to feasibility I would look at the anti clockwise rule to help you with this. Thanks!

So how does the dichromate to chromate equilibrium exist naturally if you have to add OH- for the reaction to occur?

When you react "chromium" with oxygen, how do you know whether Cr3+ is to be used or Cr2+ ?

Why chromium doesn't exhibit + 1 oxidation state , it contains only 1 electron in 4s orbital ?

is this needed for aqa? it only talks about vanadium

My textbook says Cr2O7 (-2) + H2O 2CrO4(-2) + 2H+ Why is it H2O and not OH-?
@AlleryChemistry7 жыл бұрын
Cr2O72- has to be dissolved in solution hence the reason why we have H2O

I thought if u add acid the equilibrium should shift to the right?
