I just accidentally skipped to the OCR Acids and Bases vid instead of AQA and has a major panic hahaha. 'Who the hell is Lavoisier and what the hell has he done with Bronsted-Lowry?! '😂 Thank you so much though for your videos, I cannot explain what a difference you have made to self-teaching. Fingers crossed for the exams now! Thanks again.

Hi there Just want to say thank you. Having a really hard time understanding some calculations in this topic and this really helped relieve a lot of that stress so i can go away and be able to practice them. It's the first time i've used a KZbin video to help (I didn't think it would work) but it has helped me loads so you have gained a new subscriber :). Thanks again

For diprotic acids isn’t it 2x[acid]=[H+]

18:17 - Isn't water acting as the acid as it's donating a proton and B acts as a base as its accepting a proton?

How can we know whether an acid or base completely ionizes or not?

Thank you so much for this. I was just wondering why sometimes (A)- represents the number of moles added eg if 5 x10-3 moles of NaOH are added, I am sure that sometimes I have seen that the conc of (A)- becomes just 5 x 10-3/vol, but other times, like your example, why does (A)- increase or decrease in moles eg why are moles added to the moles of (A)- when NaOH is added

At 17:25 you say that BH+ is the conjugate acid because it’s a proton donor? Did you mean to say proton acceptor?

At the end on the uses of buffer bit, does the carbonic acid dissociate differently for the 2 different reactions?

Hi Sir, I think there is a mistake on the acids and bases slide it should say weak acids dissociate poorly instead of strong. 🙂

Hello amazing video by the way, really informative!! I think at 21;35 I think I spotted a mistake you wrote "strong acids dissociate almost completely destroyed as it's dissociate poorly" but I think you meant weak acid am i right?

Hi sir, do your videos completely cover the new aqa spec? and also how can i rearrange the videos to make it in line with the spec? thx sir i have an exam at the end of the month and i don't like the textbooks so your channel look like a great help!

When calculating the change in ph of a buffer when adding a strong base, how do you calculate the moles of acid and salt after it’s been added?
