I never got into the comparison of players. MJ, Kobe, LeBron. All are great players. MJ was a great player and Business Man. Give Anthony Edwards time to develop his game. What's the rush for him to be great. He's only 22.

87-88 Lakers would've lost to the Pistons if it wasn't for that bogus foul call against Laimbeer, AND I HATED Laimbeer. They were up 3 games to 2 in the series & they were up in the game with just seconds left when the call happened..... Kareem missed the shot on the back down.

People forget how MJ was dominating his first 4 to 5 years in the NBA. He was playing with less talent than say a Magic or Bird. Go look at his numbers and efficiency even as a young player. Jordan was on another level. When he finally got some “real” help, he won!! Edwards does not remind me of MJ at all, maybe a little bit in terms of his build and athleticism. Jordan was a much more polished player even at a younger age. Two diff players. Edwards comp is Dwayne Wade, but with a better jumper.

(As much as he may despised, THAT CALL WAS BOGUS) Not only were the Lakers behind in the series 3-2, BUT they were also down in the game by one point inside of the last 30 seconds AND TO TOP IT OFF, Kareem actually missed the hook with 14 seconds left.
