At around the six minute mark, we see the Wahnfried villa, Richard Wagner's last residence, which is actually in Bayreuth. I visited there in the mid 70s, and paid my respects at his tomb in the back yard.

In 1961 my US Army Dad was stationed in Nuremberg at Merrel Baracks Former SS Kaserne, war damage was still all over the place and we would explore and play out in the woods and Hitler’s parade field…. weapons, bullets, etc….. you wouldn’t believe it, then in 1982 I was stationed with the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment attached as an Intelligence Analyst for border duty…. Great times now so long ago…. I became “part” of history…. so many stories blowing in the wind😢
