My FAVORITES During PREGNANCY 🤰

I was going to start out by saying "I wasn't pregnant that long ago"but I had to stop bc it's been 8 years! Omg time flies! Regardless, I had an easy pregnancy minus almost daily migraines. I have to mention a breastfeeding tip though... If you find it hard or discouraged, don't hesitate to ask for a nipple guard! My son was super rough during feeding. Within the first 2 days, my nipples were bruised and bleeding (yes he was latching correctly). I was about to throw in the towel bc it was so painful. My first lactation consultant was a "no pain no gain"person, which I can appreciate, and I tend to be more like that, but when your hormones are all out of whack and you're crying and the baby is crying, we need a different approach. The second one I saw gave me the guard and it helped so so so much! It gave my nipples time to heal and to get used to what was going on. Eventually, you won't need them. but if you're having issues, don't be afraid to ask. A lot of family and friends that were having the same issue never heard of them but thanked me later. Also, if you're exclusively breastfeeding, a good pump is great to have and a lot of insurance companies will cover some or the whole cost (at least in pa). It can help build up your supply and obviously so you don't have to do every single feed or do it in public if you find it uncomfortable. I also got a car charging bottle warmer. That helped with upset tummy and vomiting. This sounds so extra but a wipe warmer was a game changer, especially for in the middle of the night. Anytime we used room temp or cool wipes, my son would snap and he was a loud and aggressive crier. After a couple of months, my sister gave me hers and I could've kissed her feet for it 😂😂😂. He stopped crying and it would just be so much easier for everyone involved. I also switched from a diaper bag to a diaper backpack. It was so much easier. You're carrying baby in your arms, half the time with the car seat, and it's heavy! Putting the extra weight on your bag instead of in your arms/on your shoulder is so much more comfortable and you don't have to worry about it sliding down your arm or losing things flinging it around.

Perfect timing. I'm in the thick of my second trimester(nearing the third) so hopefully there's some good stuff I can use. So far my favorite preggo item is my maternity pillow. I had bad backaches in the beginning and now with my belly in full swing, it helps keep me and baby comfy.

I just got a Stanley tumbler a few weeks ago and I LOVE it. For some reason it actually makes me drink more water! I’m not pregnant but I am breastfeeding my 3 month old, and hydration is key! ❤️ lots of love Allie!

Hi Allie! I used a pillow from Target it’s the Sherpa pillow with arms, back, handle etc. it helped me so much during pregnancy when being comfortable in bed was hard watching TV. It also came in so much handy afterward supporting my back while sitting up in bed breast feeding. I still use it and my child is a toddler now when she is not feeling good, she just wants to lay on me so having back support is wonderful.

I use a shower chair due to the fact that I'm a wheelchair user in my everyday. It has a back to it and it has a space for the shower curtain to go in to prevent water from getting out of the shower & I love it! I can't remember where I got it, but I'm sure there are plenty of options out there if you just do an internet search. I also wear compression stockings due to an ankle injury in my teens. They are the Sheer Ease from Therafirm. Highly recommend as well! Hope this helps some expecting mamas out there in the future! ❤

My doctor also said and it works too, sleep on your left side it keeps acid reflux & heartburn at bay!! I still sleep on my left to help my heart to pump easier after heart surgery to add 2 stents to my heart

I have that shower bench. It's so helpful. I got it in early 2020 when I have a concussion and I never stopped using it. I have fallen in the shower many times and it's a lifesaver.

Great video! Omg Allie I was the same way in my first trimester. The smell of food would make me so nauseated it was horrible. I found food with salt helped like salted nuts, chips anything with salt helped me somewhat control it. My daughter weighed 9 lbs, 14 ozs, so my belly was so big at the end I could put my dinner plate on it or my kitten would sleep there, lol. Compression socks are amazing even if you're not pregnant. I live in Flagstaff, which is 7,000 ft elevation, so when I go to my daughter's house in California my legs swell at sea level. Your baby girl will grow the most this last month, so relax and enjoy. I hope your delivery is an easy one. I don't know what your delivery plans are but if they give you a choice of having pain meds, take them you'll thank me later. I had to be induced into labor and what I thought was bad they wouldn't give me anything, but that was years ago. Things are probably different now, I know when my daughter had my grandson 5 years ago things were so different I couldn't believe it. Anyway sweetie, take care of yourself and baby girl, they are truly a miracle. I love you Allie💝🐈‍⬛🐈🐎🐕💝🧸👶🏼🍼💝💯

I’m on baby number 3, third trimester. Since my last pregnancy, I have been pedaling magnesium lotion as a miracle worker. If you get leg cramps, muscle soreness or struggle to stay asleep- it is amazing. I use the 8Sheep Organics one and last pregnancy it was a lifesaver for my hip joint pain.

I was also incredibly sensitive to Smells when I was pregnant with my daughter, it's actually how I realized I was pregnant in the first place. Unfortunately with mine it didn't go away I pretty much had all day sickness for about 7 months straight. Like you said though fragrance free is your best friend!

My husband hated them, thought they were so ugly, I went to the hospital in them and unfortunately they were in the ‘splash zone’ so they went into the trash. Before I left the hospital I reordered so when I got home they were waiting for me. Love them!!!

I just thought of these postpartum essentials, since baby’s arrival is coming up. If you plan to breastfeed, Aerie’s wireless bralettes are so comfortable and convenient for breastfeeding baby on the go. I couldn’t stand the nursing bras that snap open/close- it gave me anxiety when I was trying to unsnap one-handed while cradling a hungry baby. Aerie’s bralettes are perfect. Secondly, super TMI but I swear to you, you will love this. Buy a pack of Depends incontinence underwear. I worked on labor and delivery for 6 years. After a vaginal delivery, you will need these. The mesh panties from the hospital gave me rashes. Depends hopefully will not. I love you so much and wish you the absolute best this remaining month of pregnancy. As always, you are so beautiful. Watching these videos brings such a big smile to my face. 😊😘

OMG those Anti-Nausea Acupressure wristbands were a lifesaver on roadtrips when I was a kid 😂 I haven't seen them in years!! The nostalgia is wild. I'm not pregnant but thanks for sharing all of these products that have been helping you. No judgement on the shower bench either. I get vertigo from time to time so I could probably benefit from one of those 🤣 The amount of times I've nearly fallen in the shower is insane for my age...😳

My 1st pregnancy went great the only thing that bothered me was smell of meat cooking... But I lived to eat lol I'm currently in my 3rd trimester also in my 2nd pregnancy it was so bad sick loss of appetite so picky with food I normally love ... I feel u best wishes during labor ... I had an emergency c section so my advice is to pack very loose pants ... Can't wait to see baby if you guys plan on sharing photos with us love u ....

Target maternity tanks are amazing. They make the bump so cute and they have a stretch neckline so they make breastfeeding so easy. Also if baby is sitting low get a belly band. It will hold baby up so they aren't smashing every thing inside you and takes some pressure off of the back and hips.

The shower seat is NOT extra! I wish my shower was big enough for one! I’m 34 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby and I’m looking forward to those postpartum showers in the hospital because they have those chairs and the removable shower head and you can get the water piping hot and just sit there and let it run over your body after doing the most amazing thing you’ll ever do! That first postpartum shower hits different, I’m telling you!

When I was pregnant, I was so sick the entire 9 months! I only gained 6 pounds it was that bad. My daughter was thankfully born very healthy though. I had to take these tiny pills with little pregnant ladies on them just to be able to eat anything. My little one almost 4 now and she is cute but super bratty 😂 man does time fly!
