Maybe I'm making an assumption but I'd be pretty confident to bet that the demographic of most of us here is newlyweds/semi-newlyweds, dating, young moms, students, trying to buy a house or just bought a house, new jobs out of college, trying to work our way up, etc. etc. So, that being said we love the drugstore dedicated videos. We love a place to come and mentally "leave" and enjoy time with a KZbin friend and know that we could actually afford what's being used! I will literally click out of a beauty video when I see the products they're all using are all $40+ each. Thanks for your dedication and your sweet personality. Hip hip hooray!

This year is my 1st valentine's day in 7years that I'm spending it on my own!! I left my partner 6months ago but it was for the better for my kids and myself so I'm not sad about being alone .... I thought I would be down or dreading it or even b an anti valentine's day person and boycott it but actually I'm not bothered lol I'm not sad but actually feel happy and proud of how far I have come in such a short time!!! Starting over in a new home and rebuilding my kids and my life and it feels good 😍😍 my 2 year old made me a card at nursery school and my 14 year old is all loved up with his new girlfriend and it's so rewarding for me to see my kids happy and to me that's better than celebrating something that should b celebrated each day lol anyway I wish u all a happy valentine's day and enjoy ur dates and whatever plans u have!! gorgeous! I noticed you use the sponge VERY lightly post setting spray - after applying my setting/shine control powder, I spray my whole face with setting spray and then press the spray in with my foundation sponge (not as hard as when applying foundation, but with pressure) and get the most beautiful, smooth look and no splotchy spray marks/circles.

Allie, you are just the sweetest and most genuine person. I'm really loving the elf The New Classics palette. You do have to work with it and build the shadows, but I don't get a lot of fallout and the finishes are good, not too heavy and emphasizing texture on my lids. Also I've just used them a couple times, but the new Milani mascaras are really good so far and easy to apply!

So today I fell in love with the L’Oréal Infallible foundation and concealer. I’m super pale, the lightest shade actually, and I’ve never found a perfect match for my skin tone until today. I used the Flower Beauty loose powder on top and it was perfect. I use the Essence banana powder and highlighter, Flower Beauty sweat pea blush, Physicians Formula bronzer, and L’Oréal voluminous mascara daily thanks to you. 😘

Favorite foundation right now: No.7 Triple Action Lift and Illuminate Serum Foundation (that's a mouthful). It's so lovely. I've never had a favorite foundation before using that one. It's pricey, even for the drugstore, but worth every penny for me.

So pretty! When I was in my twenties, I thought I had to only use high end products. However, drugstore cosmetic companies are really serving the goods with affordable prices 😄 I have really streamlined my makeup and really understand what works for me. I use the Eco Tools sponge too and I LOVE it. I am currently loving the Maybelline Foundation too. Sometimes when I need a little more coverage I mix a little of my Kat Von D Lock It Foundation. That Foundation is so full coverage it can erase every mistake you've made since Jr. High. And I also use the Milani powder. Bronzer is what makes me feel like my look is coming together because I finally get some definition in my face! My 8 year old daughter Myleigh and I LOVE watching you Allie! I have tried the loreal freshwear three times, and with different primer, and it starts out well, but after an hour or so, it sticks to every dry spot and gets splotchy. I do use the physicians healthy foundation and have great luck with it and have started using the new FIT me foundation for normal/oily skin and I really like it.

My favorite drugstore foundation is L'oreal pro matte and my favorite high end is fenty. I have oily skin though. They actually are fairly similar in finish.
