I watch so many beauty videos and whenever there’s a review of a product sometimes I haven’t even thought about buying it but because everyone recommends it and it’s new I feel like I have to get it? I have so much makeup as is and I need to take my time going back to play with my older palettes. Also if you don’t watch Sophie’s videos (the person who colabed with makeup revolution for that palette) you should. She does sooooo many drugstore products makeup tutorials and I just love her. After the first part I had to stop and write this. Allie you are EXACTLY right! I have thought that for the longest time. I get so sick and tired of gettin the newest products shoved down my throat. I’m always like “Well what happened to the products you used last week that you loved so much” Don’t get me wrong yes I wanna see you try new things but I love how you come revisit older products too so I can recreate it please keep doin this! I have stuff that I bought because someone here on KZbin gave me the facts I needed to decide whether to invest my money in it or not and then they never use it again. Life so totally does fly by once you hit college. I just turned 21 yesterday and am gearing up to start my SENIOR year. It feels like just yesterday that I was this itty bitty freshman scared to leave home. But boy has the time I've spent in college been some of the best years of my life!! My heart is ALWAYS telling me to buy everything I see or that beauty influencer tells me is fantastic, but then I always have to tell myself to slow down and stop and enjoy the things that I have now that I'm LOVING. Love your dialogue in this! So real. 💕 I search your old videos all of the time for stuff I have or want to try. The other thing I love is using similar products I have for a look you’re making. What I’d really love are tips and tricks videos (where you could play with old favorites). I’d love full length videos for individual types of product techniques. Like a playlist of “liquid foundation application, powder foundation application, eyebrows, eye liner, highlighting and contouring”. I know you go into tips sometimes, but there are definitely things I could improve on and search KZbin for all the time. I personally struggle with my foundation separating, looking too powdery, clinging to dry patches, etc.

Yes it flies by. I can remember the days my 2 boys starting elementary school, then middle school, then high school. Love the combo of the olive shirt and Rosy tones. It really brings out your eyes. I also really like the Milani Lip Crème in Adorable and the Maybelline Fit Me loose powder. I also totally know what you mean about time flying by. If you think about it, when you're younger, say 6 years old, one year is only 1/6 of your life. So then when you're 30 it's only 1/30. The years keep becoming less and less "significant," leading to the illusion that time is going by faster.

I love these types of videos. I would much rather see the same products reused then constantly new products. The bareminerals original foundation and the warmth bronzer were my first makeup purchases 12 years ago and I switched over to a liquid foundation maybe 3 years ago. And then I went through a phase of trying different bronzers.. but honestly my skin tone when I’m tan is more of a reddish tint so the warmth bronzer is perfect, I’m not sure why i felt the need to experiment when i had what i needed haha. But I just recently picked up the bareminerals original foundation again after hearing you and a few others on KZbin talk about It and i fell back in love with It. I still use a light layer of liquid foundation and then i buff the powder all over and I’ve been obsessed again! Thank you so much for your honest and real videos. You have such a genuine soul and it just beams through you 💕

I have the Ardell Stroke a Brow pen which has a brush tip (nearly identical to the Physicians Formula Eye Booster eyeliner or Kat Von D Tattoo liner) and really like it. I have very sparse brows with few hairs and it really helps give me those super fine, thin lines. It does take a little practice and a light hand to get the lines really thin and hair-like. Alternatively, I have used the PF Eye Booster in black (the regular black, not ultra black) for the same purpose (I'm brunette and prefer a cooler toned brownish black in my brows).The only bummer is the Ardell pens don't seem to last a super long time and both the PF pen and Ardell pen can leave a slight sheet (I remedy that by using a light application of a cool med brown eyes shadow). The things we do for nice brows...

I absolutely love testing out new foundations and it does sometimes get overwhelming with all the new launches because it makes me want to try everything! One I always go back to though is covergirl healthy elixir!!! It makes my skin look flawless and so natural and I love that foundation so much!

By the way I would say which makeup product I love that's old, but I'm still learning and getting the hang of all of this makeup stuff, but I *loved* the "DNA" Foundation until Walmart stopped selling it, now I'm just trying to find the right combo for my face+new environment 😊 But other than that, I have nothing fun. 🤷 😁

I recently stated using my physician formula founder again also! I forgot how easy it blended and how it looked so natural on my skin. Also found my Milani Luminso blush and bronzer. Also just picked up Milani’s Highlighter in sunglow and its so pretty!

My favorite pallette is the tarte clay face pallette vol. 1... I don't think they make it anymore... The other is the tartelette in bloom. My foundation tried and true is my L'Oreal lumi foundation.... Something new I'm trying is the Christine Dominque's Latte Palette

The deepest contour shade is such a gorgeous eyeshadow. I’m glad it’s such a huge pan because I’ve never found anything quite like it; the texture is just a little more....pillowy? than their usual shadows. Such a good neutral palette!

I wish you would show how your skin looks with the foundation. (Like a close up) Every foundation looks good on you but I always have problems. It sits in my pores or balls up or even looks so cakey. And some RAVE about those products that do that. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. Can anyone help?

Camron Nicole Green if foundation is balling up it could be a problem with he primer you're using. Try switching it out or just using moisturiser :)

I use pore filler primer from NYX to smooth my face. A little goes along way and make sure you don't put too thick of a layer on of foundation. Also, if you buff your foundation in all directions it helps with how your pores look. Sometimes you need a dewy primer to help melt everything together.

First put some hidratant creme, then primer, than foundation but not matt one. Try to use more natural foundation not cakey. Good luck 😊

Skin care, skin care, skin care.. I have always kind of felt similar, like why is a foundation everyone loves look so bad on me. I just recently went to sephora to ask about my skin type, I found out my skin is SUPER DRY ! It's only been a week but I already feel like after using moisturizer everyday day and keeping up with skin care products is so beneficial. They are making my skin and makeup look soooo much smoother and healthy!
