I bought blurry green and also the liner and mascara that matched. I sent the mascara back because I was underwhelmed with the color. It seemed to me much more vibrant in the Chanel ad/ video. I did not have any greens in my Chanel collection and I thank you for giving a great tutorial as I was unclear on how to get the look I wanted. I need to invest in some brushes that work really well with Chanel products because I really feel my brushes are part of the problem( any suggestions would be well appreciated) and just so ya know I hoard Chanel too.. started in the mid eighties... have some that I just can’t part with because of all the memories attached even tho they are way expired( and discontinued!) thanks so much Allli!❤️💜

I'm so glad I'm not the only makeup hoarder! LOL I also have a hard time letting go of (particularly Chanel) makeup, I justify holding on to it because it was so expensive! lol I really enjoy MAC and Sigma brushes, they're at a medium price range and I find you can really find any shape brush that you want (especially with Sigma). I'm assuming you're looking for eye brushes, I'm quite confident you could invest in a couple good brushes and be set. I've owned mine now for close to a decade and have no problem with them. Also, if you're interested in Sigma brushes you can get 10% the purchase if that interests you.

The blurry green Chanel quad looks ❤️😍❤️on you. Such a beautiful look on brown eyes - I also have brown eyes and I adore the Chanel greens to bring out my eye colour. Especially the liner you mentioned “Celadon”. I don’t think I will be purchasing any of the blurry quads. I don’t wear many eyeshadows though I recently purchased the 9 shadow palette as a splurge. The stylo that goes with the blurry green quad does sound interesting as do the nail polishes; I’m looking forward to your upcoming video on the new Chanel nail polishes.

I agree with you they released the Les beiges and cruise on the same day . I live in Toronto. I did get both shadows and am not sorry at all. The cruise collection one is just as gorgeous as the Les beiges. I passed on all the blurry collection. They did not inspire me and yes I have several eye shadow palettes myself so I felt I would not use them nearly as much as the natural/ nude ones. Several years ago when Peter Phillips was still at the helm he introduced Entrelacs and that was a stunning 5 shadow palette all naturals . I find that is one of the first palettes I have used right till I hit heavy pan and still scraping the sides for the browns and nudes. The only thing I liked about the eye collection was the reintroducing of Agape now called brun Agape. It was first released with Lucia Pica’s first collection . It is a beautiful brown and I scooped up as many as I could and when it was gone I lost my mind. Here it is once again and a beauty to use with Les beige or cruise collection. My thoughts on all these releases still hold true for me. The ones I love and wait for are always in the fall and the Les beiges collection. I find those are the best and worth waiting for. Don’t get me wrong the others are still beautiful but you only have room for so many palettes get the ones that you really want . Great look you did. Enjoy your day.

Hi Hilda! I totally understand. We only have so much space at home for eyeshadows lol. In a perfect world we would pick each new thing that tickles our fancy, but that just isn't feasible. I didn't know that Peter Philips used to be behind Chanel makeup, it's interesting that he's working with Dior now. I hope you can pick up for the Agape Brown liner, I know the feeling when Chanel discontinues a beloved item. They came out with a liner a few years ago called "Érables", it was a perfect light brown with gold specks in it. Maybe they'll rerelease it this fall, if so, I'll do like you did and buy up several of them at the same time.

Yes peter Phillips went to work for Chanel in 2008 and stayed till 2024 I believe and that is when Lucia Pica stepped in. I only know this because I am many years your senior. Personally I am impressed with Lucia Pica. I find her collections and colours and textures to be inspiring. I am not so much a Dior fan . I think Lucia pica nailed it with her first collection and am sure they were big shoes to be filled. Have a great day and looking forward to more of your videos.

I bought ALL these quads except for the blue, along with the liners & colored mascaras. I have green eyes & these are all awesome for me. (Blue looks terrible on my coloring!) Nail polishes are awesome. Grabbed the orange & discovered the metallic red runs kind of fuchsia. Just can’t create a bad look with these.

Can't wait to see that mascara on you! I have an appointment with Chanel in two days for a facial, they do these in Greece for promotion of their skincare and then they make you up. I hope they have those new palettes but I doubt so. We are usually the last to get anything I guess. Anyways, I hope to see your next Chanel videos. Hi Allison! Thank you so much for your reply. Crete is a beautiful island and well Greece has so many beautiful islands. I haven't visited them all of course but Crete is one of my favorites. I live in the suburbs of Athens and it is quieter than in the center thankfully. Chanel holds these facial sessions for some of their customers about two or three times a year. I consider myself to be one of their good customers as I love Chanel products, both skincare and makeup. My last purchase was the nine-shadow palette right after I watched your video actually. I also love their brushes. I just saw that you uploaded another video so I am going to watch that too. Hope you have a wonderful summertime and visit Greece again. Hi there! Like all makeup, eyeshadows do expire. They are usually safe to use for a few years. Products that a dry like eyeshadow, powders etc last longer than ones with a lot of moisture like lip gloss and lipstick etc.

I’m very interested in the eros mascara; I wanted that during the mascara sale at Nordstrom but they took it off the website for the sale :( Have u bought any of the Dior Tri(O)blique palettes? I bought pink since I didn’t really have colors like that and bought the Chanel 9 pan beiges; those finishes/ formula are very unlike anything in current Dior palettes, a lot like the shimmer in the Sienna Wild Earth palette. So beautiful. I keep telling myself not to be a hoarder and by the coral or tan versions as I have those colors

Yes, I picked up the Blurry green. Unfortunately, It didn’t come to my mind to mix the mascara or the stylo yeux. I picked up the ones that match with the eyeshadow.
