TAKING A BREAK FROM YOUTUBE | Finding Inspiration & Recharging

Hi friends!
Today we are talking about taking a break. This month marks the 8 year anniversary of my first upload here in KZbin. Since then, I have consistently uploaded 3 videos a week for the better part of that time. It's time for to take a break. This is a sabbatical, not a retirement. I will be back in the New Year feeling recharged and inspired again. I will not be uploading new videos for a couple of months, however, I will be responding to comments so feel free to reach out. Think of this as your fancy friend in Montreal taking a semester abroad.

Recently, I was left wondering "are all of these collections and brands uninspiring, or am I simply uninspired?". The best way to find out is to take a pause. ❤❤❤. Alli, you do a phenomenal job!!! I recently went to Morocco and saw YSL’s final resting place, came back and watched your beauty history week about him. Your videos are not shallow like “this is blue, this is black”, but they are actually in depth, sometimes even to the beginning of that brand. You educated us, some things just pierces the heart - nobody is come running to you in the mall and asking “Are you wearing Gucci bronzer” 😁😁😁 Even I’m growing tired of endless new/limited releases. I wanted to let you know that I recently retired from my position of 41 years and guess what everyday is a new day and I am always finding stuff to do whether it is laundry or stuff around the house or going out.
