Opinions are cool, but refusing to see them after any one of these tremendous talented guitarists either passed away or moved on from the band is idiotic... That's my opinion! Warren and Derek were together longer than any duo over the years. It showed, they meshed as well as any of them... Throw O in there as well, longest tenured bassist. I not saying this lineup was better than any other, they scorched a lot of stages in their time as well... Duane is the only one I never got too see live. LEGEND! I am sure he approved of all the greats that came after him in the band. They kept the music going, all had their own style & sound, all greats in my book....

@@Craig_Fussell And it's too bad Dickey wouldn't turn it down and/or let the PA system put out some of his sound. Dickey's excess stage volume was a real sore point for several of the band members. It drove Jack out of the band and eventually contributed to Dickey's being kicked out of the band. Jack discusses his problem with Dickey's volume, very diplomatically, in a couple KZbin interviews.

I attended this show along with all the others at Great Woods , Tweeter Center, Comcast’s Center, & then Xfinity Center. So many fabulous memories from outside the show as well inside. I remember they broadcast this show in its entirety the following nite on WZLX Bostons classic rock station. I recorded it on cassette tape and couldn’t put a finger on how many times I replayed that show. The pinnacle was going backstage at the Zeitainian theater in New Bedford in 2010 and having the honor of meeting Gregg along with Jay Collin’s, Jerry Jemmott, Bruce Katz, and Scott Sharrard . Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better I had the pleasure of hitting backstage on New Year’s Eve 2010-2011@ Twin River Casino in Lincoln Rhode Island. The party may be over but, the memories linger on forever. Best damn band Eva!
