Brilliant story. Thanks for sharing. I loved the long silencer Allspeeds on my LC back in the day. 👍

Fantastic to see this! There is nothing to beat a small company that actually cares about their product. Currently looking for a 2T project ...will definitely be in touch!

Thinking the same - wish I'd bought one years ago when they were cheap though!. Fancy an RD400 - they used to be peanuts!, not any more sadly!. Can't beat the sound and smell of a 2 stroke, even if they're not that quick compared to a modern bike.

I purchased my Chrome Allspeeds for my 350LC from the Ally Pally Road Racing show, back in 1982, they cost £90.00 😊

Awesome to see a great name still going and a quality product which can fly the flag with pride. Continued good luck to you for the future. I must confess, I had a set of Microns on both my Suzuki X7. Nothing sounds more spine tingling good than a 2 stroke at full chat with a great set of pipes.

My Dad had an X7. I've got some video of him starting it up from 1995.

The boxwood dresser reminds me of an earlier time in the communication industry in NZ. The dresser was used to dress lead sleeves that were used as closures on lead sheathed cables. It's more than 20 years ago that I did one. Hi from NZ, Anthony

This is so good to hear that this company is still producing these pipes. I'm no longer riding now but back in the day l had a 350 lc.. put microns on at first & then switched to Allspeeds ..they were so much better all round, better performance and better sound ! Well done guys and thanks for posting this 👍

What a brilliant story, and we all owned something back in the day with Allspeed's on it. My memory of all of the names of different expansion chamber manufacturers back then escapes me now but there was a company that made them for the RD's that had very long expansion chambers, and I believe the company name started with the letter J. Come on guys , help jog my memory for me!!

Had a pair of all speeds on a 350lc back in the 90's The lad who lived ten doors down could hear me fire it up on a sunday afternoon!🤣

350 lc versions had bigger bore downpipes a far as i remember. Plus the long, forward internally protruding stinger, was cut off too! By me! Louder, cracklier, pipier... I can still here that tuned bike coming on at 7500 and revving to 11000... 35 yrs ago! Inspired by hag hughes black and white bike. Had tz pipes and swarbricks on it too, but too peaky for every day use!

Why dont you guys use a rotary welding machine? I used to work for a large exhaust manufacturer and we always used the manipulator.. keeps welds consistent & no start stops
@AllspeedExhaustsUK9 сағат бұрын
Money, we are not a large exhaust manufacturer. If someone has a cheap used one we would look at buying one.

Interesting vid 👍 do you guys still hold the dyno days? Brought my air cooled rd250 down a couple of times. Have a 350lc with your pipes on 👍
@AllspeedExhaustsUK9 сағат бұрын
Hi. We haven't done a Dyno Day for several years. Never say never, but the past few years our race team has kept us busy during the summer season. So not had the time to do one.

Fabulous ❤️ well done sir for keeping these alive, I always preferred Allspeed's over those other popular ones that began with an M, love the artisan nature of these, now this Bantam motocross bike Iam thinking of building needs an old school underslung expany like the 70's Elsinore CR's 😂😂😂
