Dedicated this to my wife during one of our hardest times, and we made it through 22+ years going stronger than ever. We been through addiction, homelessness, lost everything we loved and was imprisoned and came out on top and this song is at the base of it all. She thought I'd leave always and still I stayed and supported her in everything as she has me. Relationships last because you want them because u both can't see life without each other. And we made it through.

People are so afraid of change they cant stand when a band evolves and puts something out that is different form their norm. get over it, this is music..
@Blaqsailens9 жыл бұрын
I think the problem here is that they put something out that's different than their norm but is pretty much the same as everything else that's being made today, so that's one less band for a lot of people to listen to because they don't have much of an identity anymore. I'm not saying all of there music is like that though as I don't listen to them.

If no one listens to any other song by these guys.. Nothing Metal, Metalcore, Post-Hardcore, etc., even if you listen to Pop or some other genre, you need to hear this. This song epitomizes heartbreak, love, relationships, and just being who you are in general. Don't give up hope when it comes to love. Someday you'll find that special someone. Someday you'll be who you want to be, and you'll live the life you need to live. If you were nothing without one person, then you're definitely something with them, and it may take half a lifetime to find them, but when you do, you'll know what you've been hanging on for, and fighting for, and you need to remember that it will all be worth it in the end, because love conquers all.

Never really watched the video closely, it's about a couple that met as children and dated as teens / 20's, and then at the end it appears she is on her own and he passed away. I've seen a few elderly couples die so close together of each other, as if they really are nothing without their other half. As sad as the widow or widower may be losing their significant other, I think having that kind of bond with someone all of those years would be worth it all

So much truth in this comment. My grandfather and grandmother both passed away last year, few months apart, and I do think that spending most of your life with someone will hurt a lot, and only a thing or two can compare to that pain. It was tough for me to lose them and I still can't completely get over it, but I can't even imagine how hard the last few months for my grandmother must've been. But, yes, maybe it'd be all worth it in the end... if I ever get to that age and stage of my life, maybe I will find out.

I tear up every time I see this video. Death was handled so beautifully, first seeing the old man carry in his wife's groceries then walking out the back door as the wife looked longingly at him. Then, as she reminisces of him, she walks out the back door and joins him. The lights swirl about like she's ascending to heaven and she sees him and smiles knowing they're together again. It's just so beautiful.

Just let it go, don't want to argue anymore I can't be sure I know just what we're fighting for I know you're scared and that you're thinking I may go I'm not leaving, I'm not leaving And if you're thinking I might, might be lead astray Just remember this one question What if I was nothing? What if this is true? What if I was nothing, girl, nothing without you So what if I was angry, what did you think I'd do? I told you that I love you, girl, I'm nothing without you I know it's hard, it seems we've worked at this so long It's often foolish pride that tells us we're not wrong I hear your voice, you tell me that you'll never go And I believe it, I believe it. And if you're thinking I might, might be lead astray Just remember this one question What if I was nothing? What if this is true? What if I was nothing, girl, nothing without you So what if I was angry, what did you think I'd do? I told you that I love you, girl, I'm nothing without you And we can keep this going on, we'll make it work some way And every step, it makes us stronger every day And if you're thinking I might, might be lead astray Just remember this one question What if I was nothing? What if this is true? What if I was nothing, girl, nothing without you So what if I was angry, what did you think I'd do? I told you that I love you, girl, I'm nothing without you What if I was nothing? What if this is true? What if I was nothing, girl, nothing without you So what if I was angry, what did you think I'd do? I told you that I love you, girl, I'm nothing without you.

I don't see why everyone is complaining, i mean it's good music, just a change in style. But ask yourself, who are you to tell artists (a band) what to do? If they want to change their style of music it's up to them. if you don't like it just don't listen to it, you've still got the old songs to listen to. They don't owe you anything. Like it? enjoy the product. don't like it? find an other band. ( clear enough? Does anyone need a flowchart?)
@pjmonkeyjohnson11 жыл бұрын
who are we to tell them what to do? we are the ones who got them money and fame. They don't owe you anything... yes they owe us their entire career, if we the fans did not listen to them, buy their merch/albums and attend their shows they would still be playing at parties to a handful of friends. Hence why most bands say at shows or awards nights that they owe it all to the fans, coz they bloody do.
@hylke4511 жыл бұрын
Paul Johnson You enjoyed their previous product, but you don't like their new product? well don't buy it. in fact a band is a business, a business that makes products (songs), you buy products from them if you enjoy it but if you do not enjoy it, you do not have to buy it. But i don't see why you see you have the right to tell them what to do. I don't think you do the same at like philips, i don't like your new LED lights give me newer versions of old light bulbs. If you want to have to say something about a buisness you have to be in it. Since you are not you do not have a right to tell them what to do.
