I'm not Puerto Rican, but Jamaicans have their own version of arroz con pollo. We make stewed chicken and rice and peas. I think the entire Caribbean have a similar staple food that tie us all together when we look at different cultures. I love when we find the similarities and we see how alike we all are. Great episode!

Aw, Adrienne This is one of my favs ATA by far! It actually makes me a little emotional because I would cook with my grandma all the time when I would visit with her, and I’m currently studying culinary arts as my profession! She and my grandfather just passed away so I needed to watch this! I get way too excited for ATA, I’m even watching it on Vacay! You can absolutely cook girl, anyone can, as long as you cook with love it can’t be wrong. It was so amazing meeting you at cafe new breed NYC too!
