I only mix up enough clear coat to do each project. A gallon goes a long way when mixed properly and they come with instructions for mixing on the side of the can. activators do not get mixed, just pour in your gun and spray.

I watched a show on Netflix called making fun and these guys were creating a tennis shoe car and they sprayed spray paint on the surface of a kiddie pool and then they took sheets of vinyl and dip them into the pool and it came out with these amazing hydro dipped paint jobs. I'm wondering if that can be done with an AR-15 and if I would have to use automotive paint or if I could just use regular spray paint? I understand I'll probably need to spray a primer down on the gun with a spray paint primer and then hopefully from that point I can put a bunch of random colors on the surface of the water wait for a few minutes and then lay the rifle all important parts removed of course down into the pool pull it up and hang it
