Ugh, Youth Dew! One summer, I worked in the Estée Lauder factory. The Youth Dew bottles on the aerosol line would occasionally explode. I used to go home reeking of Youth Dew! I had to throw my gum sole shoes out at the end of the summer, because I couldn’t get the smell out.

Youth Dew was my Mom’s scent so it makes me think of her. That’s such a fun Youth Dew story, I bet thst scent is forever in your brain!

I love your description of the Fenty - before it all went wrong! 😆 It is super bold, like those bombastic 80s perfumes! Personally, I love it, but I've heard many found it to be too much. I'm definitely too much, so it's great for me! 😂

Thanks for the review. - even though it was a catastrophe, it was still worth watching! You were close with the “muse” that was the FFF scent by Riddle. I sure hope it wasn’t an allergic reaction you had to the Fenty perfume.

Wow you did have a mess and you handled it very well 🤗. I hate when that happens. I liked the Fenty too but no burning 🥵. I love the Muse one in FFF. I find myself choosing it a lot. Have a good weekend!

At least it wasn't a full size leak? I don't know what else to say about that. Part of the reason I don't get Allure is because they don't let you customize colors. It's not like brow colors are interchangeable.

They let us pick what color we wanted. I’m blonde and I was able to choose taupe. When you log into your account it lets you customize items like brow, lip, and hair type sometimes

How much was that box Kathleen? I really liked it, even the stinky stuff and burning perfume, lol. I'm allergic to most perfumes but I used Beautiful by Estee Lauder, Halston and Fire and Ice before my skin turned super sensitive. I worked beside a designer perfume packaging company and got tickets to their friends and family sale every year, at 80 to 90% off. I tried to look online for the Allure box price but there are different prices. I don't think they deliver to Canada, anyway, but it is definitely better than than average Ipsy Boxycharm box, which just went up in price again! It's now $32. I unsubscribed last year but still buy in some of their sales.

Same thing happened to me with the Fenty perfume. I called Allure to let them know. They offered to send me a new one .The scent was so bad that I asked that they do not send me another. I just wanted them to know. Guess what? They sent me another Fenty lol. The Kylie gloss was a horrible color. Like you, I have been happy with the boxes since February 2024.

That Fenty is the one you could get. I was gifted it and I had to jump in the shower. It is not just a scrubber it is a whole shower. It smells like incense on me. ❌️⭕️

I had that happen with the rose scented face spray that was included a while back. Allure’s support is excellent. They’ll replace the entire box. Or maybe they’ll give you a credit since it doesn’t seem like this one was a win for you!

I love the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow, pencil. That shape would be way too dark for me as well. It’s too bad that they don’t customize it to your shade.

I passed on using the Kylie lip gloss as well. Those colors do not look good on me either. I like the same type of colors you do. I really liked the smell of the Fenty perfume too. It did not burn my wrist though. 😊

I love how you kept saying Muse and then trying to remember the name of the perfume oil scent... which IS Muse! 🤣 The perfume oil is Riddle. I got the Muse in my FFF and I don't love it because it's too floral. I'll keep using it though! Is the original better? I'm thinking of getting the kit to try a couple.

It is Riddle! I totally blanked!🤣bahahaha I love the original. It just smells clean and has a relaxing scent to me. I don’t find it at all floral or spicy or foodie so it’s tough to describe but yes, I think it’s much better!

The fenty exploded all over my box and made me sick. I was thinking for a month to buy the bottle and almost pulled the trigger on it but a day before I did I saw allure was adding it to the box. I’m so thankful that I didn’t buy that $120 bottle. The sent gave me the worst migraine was god awful and did not smell at all like the fenty website described it. I got violently sick migraine and since it exploded all over the entire box it stunk up my entire house and me. I couldn’t get the smell off of me I literally had to use a pumice stone rub a layer of skin off make myself bleed to get it off. It hurt so damn bad but the smell was horrible. Rubbing alcohol couldn’t get it off. If you like the scent you can spray it on a clay disc to scent your room they make them to hang on walls for scenting closets or rooms. So you can still use it just not on your body.

Maybe your wrist was burning because you had a little scratch there that you were not aware of? Maybe try it again on your other wrist and let us know. Anyway, such a shame the box had problems. I don't like when you can't select a shade that works for you. That seems like a waste to me. I wish all the sub boxes would get on board with letting us pick from at least a few shades. You do a great job on your unboxings, even when it all goes wrong lol.

The Erborian is a very dry serum going on. I'm sad yours was ruined 😢. I don't care for Kylie products either. The FENTY perfume is wonderful.
