The 40s are terrible. Miss 1950s whose hair is is made from ultra fine highlights on ultra fine highlights so there is a root demarcation is bad. Frosting (still popular today only if you have one heck of an old school hairdresser, and then you end up looking like someone's mom!!) didn't arrive until much later- the 70s. (She's also Miss 30s...) I haven't had a rubber cap on my head since beauty school in 1994.

If you're going to dye your hair blue, bleach your hair platinum blonde because if you don't your hair is going to look seaweed green after a couple days of showering. I went to this dumbass bitch of a hair stylist who just bullshitted my hair and went through only one bleaching session. I have extremely dark hair, if you have dark hair have make sure get your hair bleached more than once otherwise you're not going to get the results you wanted. Make sure to give your hair a week before you go bleach your hair again

The chunky/stripey highlight technique was probably actually more like the early 2000s, (maybe super late 90's) and it was WAY chunkier and had way more stripes than that girl did (I know she probably didn't want to actually dye her hair that way just for this video, but still). I remember the stripes and chunks being SUPER noticeable. People on T.V. and even every day people I would see had literal chunks of color in their hair. Blonde stripe, brown stripe, blonde stripe, brown stripe, all over. It wasn't subtle, blended streaks. (Google "Kelly Clarkson chunky 2000s hair" and you'll see exactly what I mean.

Manic Panic started out in 1977 creating hair dyes aimed for the punk scene and rock n roll. Theyve also created clothing, lipsticks and eye makeup to match their hair dyes. People in the 70s laughed until around the 80s and 90s, well known celebs started dying their hair with manic panic and gained them a lot of attention. Theyre a real good company :)
