This Is the Best STEAK at Caesars Palace Las Vegas

I ate one of the best steaks in Las Vegas at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. Caesars Palace also has some of the best steaks in Las Vegas at the Old Homestead steakhouse, but for a Bobby Flay restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip, this steak was my favorite. Caesars Palace has plenty of other best places to eat steak in Las Vegas like Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.

Sorry, that place is meh, waaaaaaay overpriced. Much better options in town for same or less money. I will say the duck blue corn quesadilla was pretty awesome, but for $50 it better be. I’m a Vegas local, so listen, or don’t. Lotus of Siam, Raku, Milos at Cosmopolitan, or if you need steak, Delmonico by Emeril at Venetian. Want to be blown away? Whole Thai garlic lobster at Lotus, cheaper than this place and miles above it.

Charles Smith it’s been rumored for a while, but it is true and has been announced that Mesa Grill will be closing to rebrand as an Italian concept by Flay named Amalfi. Mesa always did a great job, but it’s likely run it’s course.

I'm old enough to remember the casino 99 cent breakfast, and the 4.99 dinner specials. The prices you payed were on par with the big chain steak houses here on the east coast, but the quality was a few steps above. Your Fiancée is delightful! The dinner conversation has greatly improved. I can't wait for the buffet reviews, but judging from some other Las Vegas channels, they may never return to normal. If they get going again, there will be a "new" normal. Thanks Derek, keep up the great work.

You had $38.00 in just the appetizers. That's pretty crazy pricing. And $12.00 for that little helping of mashed potatoes. I guess Vegas is becoming the new NYC, but I just can't see 151.00 for the meal without drinks or tip.

Many of the high end restaurants at Caesars are meant to be enjoyed complimentary by gamblers, or convention groups that are writing off everything as a business expense, although Mesa isn't actually more expensive than most of the marquee dining rooms on the Strip (Gallagher's at NYNY costs about the same as this.) There's always the steakhouse at Circus Circus, it has a lot of fans because a lot more people can afford it.

I really like the Mesa Grill. I had their tuna tartar nachos and the chiliquiles. Great Service too, my water never got half way finished before they refilled. It is pricey but it’s not an everyday restaurant. Great Review!

Busybee one way to save money is to go at lunch. It's the same menu but a bit smaller portions. It is definitely less expensive. I've eaten at BF twice for lunch and I did save a decent amount of money.

Cheryl: There is a genetic component involved in people's smell and taste that determines how they perceive cilantro(coriander). On average about 25% of people find the taste and aroma objectionable. I'm one of them!
