I ate 4 lobsters at the Palms buffet so price is pretty on point. I think I would choose Tim ho wan if you have either a gift card, food comp or money to burn because it’s less messy and yes that sauce is amazing! They also use that sauce for the steamed sea bass which is also easier to eat with no shell. Over plain or fried rice it’s sooo goooooood. Last time I ordered both lobster and sea bass it was too much and bill was too much but golly what a great time. 😅😊🎉

Hi guys! A few years ago, before shutdown, I was staying at The Palms. I was playing some Video Poker over near the back exit to parking and the condo tower. It was about 11am and I heard this giant banging of drums and noise. I went to investigate. It was the grand opening celebration of Tim Ho Wan. I wasn’t familiar at that point but when the commotion died down I went in and since it was just opening got seated right away. Got a couple of dim sum orders, nit the buns didn’t know yet, and tried them. What I had was excellent and I didn’t order more as I knew a big dinner was later, I did return on my next trip. I now knew about the buns thanks to reviewers like you two. They are special and a must try. Great video but as they’re pretty pricey I’d stick to the dim sum and enjoy. Joe

The food looked fabulous and I wish I could try all the dishes you have tasted. I remember when I worked in NY going to Chinatown going to the dim sum places and enjoying sitting at the table with the ladies bring the carts displaying all the dim sum … that is dim sum, the carts with all the variety coming to you as you sit at your table. Your expressions and critique are perfect….Enjoy!

Size matters the smaller the lobster the sweeter it usually is. You want to have one around 1 pound the bigger ones can be a bit chewy if you are unlucky. You made me want to try the lobster so ty for that good video as usual.

I was there two weeks ago. I’ve eaten dim sum all over the world including in Hong Kong. Tim Ho Wan is competitive with anyone. We got around 8 dishes and there was only one that l didn’t absolutely love. That one was just OK. The rest were 10s. A really good experience.

We moved around with his job. He worked for the Bureau of Reclamation. He passed away August 30th 2023. After 51 years of marriage. I miss him so much. I hope you also have a very long marriage.
