Careful with the spray bottle... it leaks after a while. She has since changed it, so it's better. But dang did I lose a lot of product while spritzing. I use the peppermint spray to cool my scalp after reties and to refreshen and deodorize my scalp. And her stage 1 shampoo is FAR better than the SL brand... zero residue, clean scalp... and I swear my SLs have flourished nicely since I started using it month 2 into my journey (I'm now 13months). Shipping is a b.... but the products are worth it. I understand not everyone's money is long but... if you have sisterlocks, you should already know the cost of the lifestyle change is well worth it. So if you can afford it... go for it. Your hair will thank you.

The coconut one always gets people attention - it smells that good. When I spray my hair with it my husband loves it and people I interact with always comment - it’s fresh smelling ❤️

Great review! I love the Seeweed shampoo. Only used it twice, but I prefer it to the shampoo I was using which was good as well. Also can say the Peppermint mist is great too and my hair loves it. Will definitely try the coconut mist when I order it.

I was going to order been wanting to try their products for. While but the shipping costs more than the products. I’m going to London in September so I was thinking I’ll buy it then but I briefly forgot about the tsa regulations. We’ll see what works out in the future.

There are a few businesses selling Almocado in the US. Unfortunately the one person I reached out to was charging what it’d almost be from the site with shipping, which I get, so I just decided to buy from the site.

Do you still use Almocado products? I use the peppermint tea mist with the seaweed shampoo along with the Sisterlock shampoo. I’m going into month 7. How long did you use the Sisterlock shampoo?

I have completely run out of all my almocado 😞. I was a square when it came to the rules my first year, year and some change. It was Sisterlock shampoo only back then.

It was maybe two months or so in. It wasn’t right away. Nothing wrong with being cautious!

Would you have used these products when you first got loc? or is this something that is for mature loc’ed hair ?....I will start my Sisterlocks journey on 11/7/19 after watching your journey from the beginning, wish me luck.....my hair is low density so I’m really worried about the scalpy look

They’ll thicken up over time! If I knew about Almocado, I think I would have tried the Stage 1 poo over the Sisterlock Starter shampoo. They have different stages for where you are in your loc journey!

😳😳 It was $21 total for me... There are some people US based selling the products as well. They’re listed under the “Stockists” section on the website. I decided to order direct though because there wasn’t much of a cost difference compared to the one person I reached out to.
