Here's other pieces of trivia (kinda) 1- The slot machine in the slot machine minigame has peashooter drawn on it but for some reason it uses the repeater's leafs 2- Whilst the giga football zombies were scrapped from all the major versions; they still did appear in some of them (one of them is Java if I am not mistaken) 3- (I haven't played the ds and dsi versions so if this is not fully accurate feel free to correct me on this) In the Ios version of pvz 1 there's a unique minigame where you can only use the cob canons given to you. The interesting thing is that sometimes a garg will be one of your enemies; but only sometimes making it the only (I think) main level that can have different zombies if replayed (aside from yeti's)

@Chaotic_Overlord it may be because gargs count as 10 on the point scale and have a spawn rate of 15% the second lowest in the game the lowest being 10% excluding the yeti and since gargs can only spawn as early as wave 15 and buttered popcorn is only 20 waves it does mean they do have small window of opportunity to spawn!

6:23 Technically, this isn't entirely true. A Coffee Bean that's placed after a Bungee targets a plant can end up being stolen by the Bungee instead of the plant it's waking up. What's more, depending on your timing, either the Coffee Bean can be stolen before it wakes up the plant beneath, or it can be stolen AFTER waking up the plant, essentially making it a free shield against a Bungee sinc you would've woken up the plant eventually anyway.

Correction on a bit of misinformation on the chinese ports section Android TV's difficulty increase was done due to it having powerups you can purchase for real world money, and every level for it past 4-1 being the same as the original game is a bug, harder versions of those levels are in the files but go unused. PVZ Endless Edition's PVZ2 plants are not obtained from their unique levels, rather they're premiums you can buy for Diamonds, which are their own, premium currency like in PVZ2.

There's actually a mod for the AndroidTV port that restores the games proper difficulty and makes the games language English. Admittedly it's the version of PVZ that I have on my phone, while playing it is a bit inconvenient since I need to have a controller/use a gamepad app. It's all worth it for how better the console ports are over the mobile version.

Funny thing to consider. A couple of scrapped zombies like the Dog Walker must've been scrapped later in development, given that in some versions, you can find text repated to them in the files. Edit: I knew about most of these, actually. However, you failed to mention that the DS version of PvZ ALSO has VS. Mode. Why do many people forget that? Also, the intro level isn't playable. It just plays the thing when starting adventure, then takes you back into adventure mode.

The sound effect of Kernel-pult's butter hitting a zombie has a rather interesting origin. Laura Shigihara was using actual butter, throwing it at random objects to try to get the right sound. All of a sudden, George Fan comes in, sees what she's doing, and says "Throw it at me"
