I was at Skylark yesterday morning visiting with Bob. Be safe on your trip to Oshkosh. I should be there Saturday or Sunday. I love seeing the videos of country I know.

Dang. This cowboy really knows what flying is all about. Still planning on heading down thataway to say hi before the snow flies in Soviet Canadastan.

Levi, Greetings from Seguin tx. I hope none of your fat tire friends see you on those rollerblade wheels. Even a dude like me has 8.50’s. Love your videos, keep them coming. Ron

Levi, great video nice flight. Just curious what did you set your Propellar pitch at? Mine is set at 11 degrees with the Rotax 582 wood Propellar, climbs great , but I’m slow, 65 to 70 mph indicated. Thank you hope to see you at Oshkosh. Cheers from Kcmx ✈️

Funny thing about the IVO prop... I don't really know the degrees. There is a single nut on the hub under the spinner. I loosened it up 2 turns, flew the plane, it was too much, turned it back 1/2 turn, flew the plane, turned it back another 1/2 turn. That's where it is now. The IVO twists the blades to change the pitch and I don't have a reliable source to tell me where to set the degrees!... Plus, this is much different than the 582 so I recommend that you do a similar procedure, but checking the static RPMs is a good idea before you fly. on the 582 I believe 6300 static rpms is a good place to start.

Looks like such a fun flight! Did you keep this plane?
@LeviNoguess Жыл бұрын
It was/is a fun plane... I didn't keep it though, I got a Supercub so I could provide Tailwheel flight training and give tailwheel endorsements. The guy who bought it has become a good friend and I was able to fly it with him. He is loving it! Thanks for watching and the comment. Blue Skies!

@@LeviNoguess that’s awesome! I’m torn on a Kitfox or a Supercub. I’m sure I’ll be super happy with either.

Nice video Levi. Does it handle much different than your 4?
@LeviNoguess2 жыл бұрын
Yes, much different than the 4. More docile and stable. Much like a 7
