I feel that Freehold Townhome in Brampton was not that bad of a decision had you gone for it. Townhomes in Financial Drive area have sold for $1.25m lately. The townhome you showed was tastefully upgraded and would have no problem selling for top dollars in multiple offers in today’s market. Having said that, what matters the most is peace of mind and satisfaction. You did the right thing by following your gut!

We were young couple and was looking for condos/townhouses in any area around GTA. We saw one condo and kind of liked it because it was beautifully decorated then when the inspection came in and we saw more things. We were not happy all this time and was thinking same that how will realtor will feel. In the end my partner stand up and said that we don’t like this condo because maintainence is high and it doesnt have much space. Luckily something in the inspection went wrong. In the end we were able to buy a townhome with a ravine lot😀

Nice Info.. Please cover HST clause as well. When we are buying a new house which was an investment property for prior owner. Sometime they add HST to be paid by new owner clause in offer..

House prices are kinda ridiculous in canada. USA is so much better for this. If you have 1 mil dollars you can buy a house in usa which would be closer to as big as a Mansion. Not sure why people are getting ripped off in canada. Probably builders are scaming people.
