Almost BURNED MY CAR! How Funk Turbo blanket saved my bacon! midweek update.

I've been using Funk products for many years to control the Rotary heat. After a run, I can hover my hand over the turbo blanket, and it doesn't feel hot at all, only slightly warm. But when I shift my hand towards the uncovered, glowing red Vband, I can't even keep my hand near it for a few seconds. The product controls the heat superbly with amazing quality.

That cabin ventilation is actually pretty smart, I never would have thought of that one lol. I was just planning on running a roof scoop

mainly yes. also they let too much water in when towing in the rain for example. hate them

More hear damage there than was visible on the previous vid. Bloody good job you had the funk blanket or could have been a lot more serious! Glad to hear your going to double nut the new clamp. Was debating to use heat management in the engine bay but after watching this it’s made it a must, just wanted an opinion, I’m using gold tape on the induction, then protective sleeves & exhaust wrap but my exhaust mani/downpipe will sit near my radiator what would you recommend to keep exhaust heat away from my radiator? Tia

yeah really cant go wrong with a physical heat barrier. like a plate of something in between. ally, stainless. if space permits

Indeed I can. But I am planing to make a new one from carbon and sell this. I actualy regret cutting the doors as I have limited number of people who would want to buy them now
