La tourell is a pretty neat one. You have so many more to see!!! Get to the top of Multnomah.. 11 switch backs. The top is Neat.. but there is a loop.. with many more falls. Also horse tail has a loop. Walk behind pony tail. There is so much to see Annette! Fun stuff!! Love it! Fall colors are popping more and more!

Sounds like I will need to go back! Totally down for that. I enjoyed Hole-In-The-Wall, maybe because I didn’t see a single person and it looked like a nice one to relax in, if it wasn’t cold. Latourell was amazing too, and a couple was flying a drone. I attempted but needed to do a software update, so no drone shots. Now I see why you chase waterfalls, they’re everywhere.

beautiful sunset. love the vista point along the Columbian Gorge. always sad to see the scares from the fires we've had the last several years. Fricken spiders! Thanks for taking us to some awesome falls. I think Horsetails was the one I like because it looked like you could go swimming there. 🙂
@AnnettesVanTease3 ай бұрын
I think Horsetail was the overall choice, isn’t Oregon such a lovely state? Dang spiders making webs across trails. 😂
@CaliforniaTravelVideos3 ай бұрын
@@AnnettesVanTease Regarding the spiderwebs, when backpacking or hiking and hitting the trail early in the day before others, getting a faceful of webbing is one of the "joys" for rights of passage. With others sometimes I'll ask, "Who wants the 'SWE' point position?" and when they ask, "What does 'SWE' mean?" I say, "Oh yeah, the lead person enjoying being the Spider Web Eater!"

I absolutely love the Vista House and Multnomah Falls. I've hiked to the top once a long time ago wish I could do it again. Thank you Annette for sharing it with me again I miss doing things like that. Love ya 💕🐶. Next time you should check out Silver Falls
@AnnettesVanTease3 ай бұрын
I totally thought of you I thought, I’m so close to your house. I know you’re somewhere around there. I did the left half of Silver Falls back in March. I was going to do the other 5 falls this trip but opted for this hike instead. Oregon is such a beautiful state.

Been to Multnomah Falls a dozen times., Debbie and I did the old highway loop falls a couple of years back. Lost lots of stuff to a major fire a few years back and some places are off limits for right now. I've done the trail to the top of Multnomah Falls a few times and there are some incredible falls along the trail heading away from Multnomah Falls once you're on the top. Fun video, Annette.

Thanks for your perspective, curious if you know about that McCloud fall? That’s the one I was looking for and ended up turning around. I wonder if that was even the trail to get to that waterfall. I’m likely to never try it again but still curious. Multnomah was AMAZING!

Wow! That was some wild ride with the spider attacks, poison whatnot and well iffy trails 😎 Those falls were amazing though. As was the food ❤👍😃

Thanks Jaune, I’m laughing at myself thinking about that near fall to my death. I caught my freak out all on video. The realization I was a step away. 😂 Those falls were all so worth the long day though. 😊

Yikes, please be careful, that was a close call! Beautiful waterfalls, and besides Multnomah, perhaps my "other fav" was Horsetail Falls, with the nice little pool at the bottom of it. Watch out for poison oak....lots of pretty red color this time of year, but don't let it fool you. That was one heck of a long day. Thanks, Annette!
@AnnettesVanTease3 ай бұрын
Thanks Nanci, you’re the second who told me about that poison oak, I didn’t know the red leaves that I was so close to was what I was trying to avoid. Luckily, I never touched it, so thankful. Such a long day, as you can see, I really don’t know how to relax.

Nice, there are so many more falls than this too. Based on the comments here, you can hike to the top of Multnomah and see more falls, and also hike to the top of Horsetail. Sounds like I need to go back at some point and catch what I missed, so much beauty in Oregon.

Horsetail was a nice one and does look like a horsetail too. I think I liked Hole-In-The-Wall for two reasons, not a single person around and it was in the afternoon with the perfect sun light. They’re all huge too.

Multnomah Falls is beautiful with that bridge. What a great place for pictures! It's scary how close you came to getting seriously injured, or worse. Like you, I also would have done whatever it took to avoid a spider web. I'm not a fan of spiders, or poison ivy. Awesome hike! So glad you got back safely! 😊

Multnomah Falls was incredible really. It’s massive, the bridge is what makes it so amazing, I do believe. 🤗

The bridge gives the falls a fairytale feel. Did you go up on it?
@AnnettesVanTease2 ай бұрын
@coravelasquez I did! It wasn’t that far up the hill. The views were much better looking up at the bridge. I guess you can go above the bridge too and will see more falls. I didn’t know about though.
