question out of topic Paul , am after dashboard repair company , being looking online and I came across tow companies here in the north west , airbag team (Rotherham / airbag service (bolton), I have watched your vw dashboard replacement video , you did say that you had to sent that dashboard with deployed air bag to company to get it repaired , I would appreciate your help Paul if you can let me know that you had any past experience with airbag team as I did drop my dashboard to them last week and still waiting for them to get back to me , they did say will take them one week to get it repaired !!! still waiting

I feel your pain buying second hand parts from eBay and them either being damaged by the courier or not the correct parts from the seller. Keep plodding on, it will eventually get done. All the best. Paul.
