Have you asked Chris and Rob at Salvage rebuild if they'll take it off your hands? Im sure Rob will give you a decent amount for it and Chris's magic hands will soon get the caddy behaving in no time!!

Park it up and come back to it in a couple of months.

I think it's the right call. Hard to take, but you don't want to get stuck in the sunk cost fallacy and keep putting more time and money into it, as it always seems a few weeks from completion and never gets nearer. Chin up. On to better things 👍

Hey Paul, So glad to see another upload. Equally, so gutted to see the caddy end this way. If you feel it's right mate, then do it. I for 1 have never been bored of the caddy or other van content but I can understand why you want to move on. Looking forward to the next video and potentially a new project coming soon! Stay safe mate ♥️

I would recommend to run basic settings first with the current egr.

Ahh man feel for you, so close, but you know when enough is enough, can't win them all I guess, better luck with the next one, chin up.

Hi Paul, I'm sorry you've decided not to continue with the caddy, but I would continue to repair it. These things are set to try us. You've spent a bit of money so far it's silly just to give up. Fix the water leaks and the parking light, and then you can take it for a drive. I was looking forward to seeing you drive it.

Gutted for you. I thought you would have changed the cam belt, Water pump etc on the replacement engine. You can’t scrap at £200 it has to be worth more than that. I would park it up and come back to it or get another YT to flip it and do a colab.

Great decision, that is exactly what I would have done...take a loss and have peace of mind.

Gutted that you've chosen to be done with it. But I get, that when you're done, you're done. I get like that sometimes. And with the limited space you have its using up valuable real estate. Great video as always Paul, I for 1 wasn't bored of it. I think youtube has changed the way it pushes videos out, my impressions have dropped massively of late

Stop getting your fingers burnt with VAG crap. Get some Fords, Vauxhalls and Fiats, cars that have cheap and plentiful new and used parts and are popular with buyers.
@davidstevens15472 ай бұрын
Paul this has been nothing but frustrating to you. One step forward two steps back. I understand why you find it such an issue when parts don't fit although meant to fit. It will be nice for you to work on something else. I think vans are not your cup of tea. Onwards and upwards with other more entertaining things even finishing off other projects and the electric VW. Stay positive. 😀
