This was my song when I was a teenager. Being alternatively black back in those days was a sentence to Bullying. However, after getting into Tokio Hotel and My Chemical Romance. I just felt better. And when they dropped this song, I was hit. I legit cried when they first disbanded. Check out their song Gravity.

(We don't like that drummer anymore, so when anyone is referring to "MCR" just assume we're talking ab our big 4- Gerard, Mikey, Ray and Frank) but this particular drummer and another member if I remember correctly did indeed incur some nasty burns from the filming of this MV. True rockstars lmao!! And yes, one thing I think folks should HAVE to respect even if MCR isn't to their taste is the fact that you mentioned, that Gerard alone puts 110% into every single thing he does. Every verse, chorus, every line, the little inflictions in his voice and his tone, his growls, not even just his parts but helping Ray and Frank write progressions and riffs, the three sorting harmonies, and even OUTSIDE OF MCR his passion for art and his work on all his comic ventures! A true creative spirit.

Unless I am misunderstanding you, this isn't the drummer you are thinking of. This is Bob Byar who was the drummer for MCR until 2010. This song is from 2007. He left the band because he was having persistent wrist problems and ended up eventually giving up drums for good because his wrists never got better His replacement, Michael Pedicone was with the band for about a year and a half before being kicked out of the band for stealing. So, unless something else happened with Bob I think he is still well liked.

As for injuries.. yes.. the drummer received 3rd degree burns and missed a few shows while getting medical treatment. Gerard tor ligaments in his ankle and I believe Frank broke a finger during this shoot.
