Man ... Next one you have to do is For Joe... Ren sings on his key board and it's... no words... Joe, one of Ren's closest friend commited suicide when Ren was 20 and 6 months later, Callum Mackay died tragically by drowning... The song, For Joe, is a wonderful tribute ... and the song Mackay is also an amazing one ... Thanks man, great reaction as always 👍😘

I love that this one shows off not only REN’s piano talent, but the beautiful scenery in Drumheller, Alberta! Ren is full of surprises, isn’t he? Yes, he plays, and composed the music n Money Game 3. He often jams on keyboard in Patreon. He has accompanied Sam Tompkins, also, in some videos. There’s even one out there somewhere with him playing background in a ritzy bar. I think he’s been playing piano since he was 14.

This gorgeous video was filmed in Drumheller, about 45 min from us here in Calgary, largest dinosaur graveyard in the world. Ren did play piano in Money Game 3 and in For Joe, his best friend who died from suicide about 14 years ago.

As far as Ren being a multi-instrumentalist, this is super true. He also produces most of his own music. If you wanna see something really crazy watch his retake called losing it. It’s an electronic house song that he raps over and it’s insane.

Often times, words can’t express what the heart feels… The pain; numbness; overwhelming… There will be times where many will feel like they’re alone… some might not understand what you’re going through…. GOD DOES! You’re never alone…God cares & loves everything about you! He will help you through whatever you’re going through! God Is Love💯❤️

This always reminds me of a movie score. From what I understand, Callum and Ren shared birthday parties for some years. After Joe died and Ren left Wales, Callum got into difficulty in the ocean as did a friend who tried to save him. An interesting note is that Prince William was the pilot of the rescue helicopter which looked for them both for many hours. Have you seen *For Joe? The song Ren wrote to honour Joe? It is also on the keyboard. I understand that crossing the hand on the piano means you can carry on with the main keys and just add the odd highlight with the other hand. More practical than it looks. Your song is really lovely. Very poignant What is the main tune from? I know it is triggering memories of a very familiar song, but cannot for the life of me place who played and sang it?

Joe jumping off a bridge plummeting to his death is the only thing that kept the rim from taking his own life because he couldn’t put his mother through what Joe mother went through, so after he saw the devastation it did to her he decided at that point in time he was going to let his disease take his life, but found some solace in the fact that he was sure it would happen in the next several years. Six months after Joe’s death, he finds out that his other best friend accidentally guilty that he had a writer block and couldn’t come up with a song as a tribute for him until the day many years later when he sat down, and this poured out of him. He said anxiety was basically instantly alleviated. So losing your two best friends to the water when you’re sicker than both of them combined. she’s literally been to hell and back and a lot of that is why he is his religion so many times.
