Congrats Eli! It pays to shop around and really great to have a trustworthy mechanic!! I drive a 2013 Chevy Trax and worry about the turbo but I got it for a good price so I'll deal with that if/when it happens. Happy driving!! I would recommend the same philosophy for shopping for insurance too.

Hello Eli. What about that 500 you had to pay to show the car to a mechanic? Has they paid you back? I heard from a friend of mine, if you do this kind of deal, show the car to your trustful mechanic, you have to buy it later. Have you heard that?

Hi, I got the money back, that was one of my conditions though, I asked if I was going to get the money back if I decided not to purchase the car and they said yes. Other dearlerships don't do that apparently, so you'd better ask in advance before making that move. Best of luck!
