I wish I could afford to own land, I am going bush. It will be hard, but I have good bushcraft skills and knowledge. Great man there, keeping it real.

Its 2020 it would be very interesting to see where they are now and all the ups and downs etc. If my wife said yes to living of the grid I would be gone so fast I wouldn't see a city lights in the rearview mirror ...…

The idea of "Freedom" wow, how pertinent is that in mid 2020 New Zealand!

These guys were so focussed on their kids, compare this to a hard working couple who see their kids early and late. Different strokes for different folks for sure no worries there, but I do wonder just how good the paid for ( government supplied included) range of child care and education is when compared with the outstanding education these kids get. I am grateful i live in a world where we are free to choose either way,,,or both ways haaha.

Nice video! How I wish I could live in a place like that. Not that I can really complain since I have my own micro-farm/wildlife habitat/food forest in 1/3 acre in the middle of a small town.

What country are you in Brother? The temperate NZ climate is a blessing

@@rosslocincam9916 You must mean sister. I live in the US, and in a part that can reach -25 F (-35.6667 C) and even lower. But it keeps unwanted people out. The last thing we are is temperate, lol.

Really enjoyed this, my favorite part & kind of stand out on its own was " Dad, l love my life" that was perfect & a true blessing for any parent to hear. It truly sums up all that this family has been working towards & gives conformation for their decision. Bless them all so very much. I would say this directly but noted their no screens policy & good on them too! I raised my kids with no tv until some what older & no internet until they left home. I still have no tv & only use the data on my phone for research & staying connected with loved ones 👌
