I admire your dedication and patience. The hard work you are doing is incredible especially when I think you both work, have a family, and all the video editing. Power couple. You’re going to have a fantastic home soon.

For those complainers who don’t want to see the wood planing - switch channels, and leave those of us who DO want to watch whatever this wonderful family are doing alone. We don’t need your negativity, they’re doing what needs to be done on this rebuild and restoration, a bit at a time, and graciously filming it for our entertainment - it’s not a TV show for goodness sake.

@@martinturvey8129methinks thou doth protest too much. Friendly advice given politely is NOT complaining. It may be welcomed by content creators, who surely want to hear what their loyal viewers are thinking. Sometimes less is more… you don’t need to fill the time with repetitive content just for the sake of filling the time… and advice from you to switch channels is, frankly, rude.

@@oriorda9470You wan’t to see less woodworking even if it means less videos; you can achieve this by not watching the videos about woodworking. Others like @alisonyoung2592 and me like watching all of it; if they take your advice, we can’t achieve this, because we obviously can’t watch videos that aren’t put out. Therefore it stands to reason that your friendly advice doesn’t accommodate all loyal viewers whereas Ilia and Marina not changing how they do things does accomodate all of us 😊

Not bad work, but you can save yourself some work in the future by cross cutting the planks to rough length first, before facing and edging. Also, never ware gloves whilst doing any work with woodworking machines, its the difference between loosing a finger or loosing a whole hand or arm.

I am not an expert but I believe you are confusing the names of things. What you are calling a planer is a Jointer and what you are calling a thicknesser is a planer. You might want to research this yourself but that is definitely what it is called where I live. I have never heard of a thicknesser. Also I love you guys and I want this comment to be taken with love and as just information not anything rude.
