The poison from the vipers in Nihlathaks temple is bugged as an extremely fast repeated physical hit of about 50 damage many, many times a second. If you pay attention to this build you know that tiny physical hits do nothing. In other words, this build is already immune to this vipers.

You can also make an immortal necromancer using the Bone runeword armor. Bone will grant autocast bone armor when you are hit, that gets synergy bonuses from your tree, essentially making you immune to physical, then you cover the rest with absorptions. Then if you want to go trolly, you turn into a bear with Beast and use a Brand demon crossbow to punch monsters with synergized bone spears. Pretty fun build 😅

Yeah that's a build that not a lot of people know about. I'm actually planning on making one eventually as soon as I'm finished with most of the other cookie cutter builds for farming.

@@tmoolah3457 honestly if you don't mind losing Enigma, you can make your regular bone necro immortal with slight itemization changes. I would not whole heartedly suggest the bear version if you don't already have the gear. To max that one out you will need godly rare/crafted gear otherwise it struggles with AR imo (or you give up a lot of cb/ds).

You might want to test this against monsters with fanaticism or conviction. The real danger for a sorceress is teleporting into a pack of mobs with mana burn + fanaticism aura. If you can beat that, then there's no real drawback to this build other than it being slow as hell.

Nice trolly build. Has good synergy play style wise. Firewall is easier to use because the mobs are standing there attacking you instead of running around chasing you. Nice video

I have been playing a bunch of immortal sorceress on hardcore. I really love how tanky it is even if you lose the energy shield to mana burn. +7 to skills is what I aim for. That way, I can get a level 8 energy shield (after that the bonus per level falls off drastically) from a single point investment. On a lightning sorc this means that going energy shield is really only a 20 point investment since you have the prerequisites already (19 ekstra points in telekinesis + 1 in energy shield = 20). I go for max res and as much magic absorb as possible to cover elemental damage. And as much PDR as I can stack for physical. PMDR and PDR are calculated BEFORE resistances while absorb is calculated AFTER. Therefore PMDR and % Damage Resistance are purely nice-to-haves and not at all a priority. As a fun side-note, because PDR is calculated before physical resistance is taken into account, this makes being cursed a complete joke as it lowers your physical resistance. 0 dmg times 2 is still 0 :)

@@sunkwolf Yes ofcourse!! My skill point distribution is 1 warmth, 1 frozen armor, 1 teleport, 1 static field, 1 energy shield, 1 charged bolt, 20 telekinesis, 20 chain lightning (the skill i use the most), 20 lightning, 20 lightning mastery. In terms of distributing stat points I like to go for a mix of vitality and energy. Enough dex for max block is ideal if you have a shield that is good for that. And ofcourse enough strength for gear. I am currently using Crescent Moon as my weapon (Broad Sword or Crystal Sword are good bases), it is almost like having 7 lightning facets (in terms of lowering resists at least) and it also gives a huge boost to Magic Absorb. I think Crescent Moon is best in slot for the lightning version. My shield is currently Spirit Monarch with 7 Magic Absorb. I think best in slot is Gerkes Sanctuary, but I don't have that. I bought 6 Chromatic shields of Amicae from vendors and rolled them at Larzuk (he can give 2 sockets in blue items but it is 50-50 between 1 or 2 sockets) with the intention of socketing them with 2 perfect diamonds, but Larzuk hates me and gave me 6 shields with 1 socket each. Another great shield alternative is upped Mosers, probably the second best option after Gerkes Sanctuary, I think Mosers is even better than Stormshield because the % damage reduction is kinda wasted in an immortal build. Helm I would gamble for a Powered (+3 to lightning) or Chromatic (up to 30% all res) circlet. You can get "Of Life Everlasting" which is up to 25 PDR on it as well or 20% faster cast rate. Amulet is the same as Helm. Chromatic or Powered with Of Life Everlasting ideally, or some other nice bonus. There are a lot of good unique rings, Stone of Jordan is probably best in slot, other great ones are Nature's Peace and Wisp Projector. I don't have any of those 3 rings, so I am just using whichever the best rare rings I have is. Something with FCR and Res is great. Armor, best in slot is probably Gladiator's Bane or Skin of the Vipermagi. Iron Pelt is also great. There are also really good and highly expensive runeword options ofcourse. Best Gloves IMO is Magefists. Best belt is probably Arachnids Mesh. I don't have that, so I just use String of Ears or something with resistances or just a blue "Of the Whale" one. For boots there are many great options. I like Aldurs or Natalyas or equivalent rare boots. Socketing with Sol Runes is a great option too. If you got a good Blue Circlet with 2 sockets Sol runes are a great option until you find the perfect jewels or some Um runes if you need more Res :)

@@stefanfigura9440 I ignore them. Or the mercenary deals with them sometimes. Theoretically, if you have the runes, you can make Infinity for the mercenary and break almost all lightning immune mobs in the game. I prefer being strong with 1 element and ignoring some mobs but having higher damage and clear speeds. Coincidentally, two really good places to farm as a lightning only sorc is Countess and Arcane Sanctuary, both of which are some of the best places to farm runes in the game (if not actually the best). Since you are immortal (I can stand in the middle of a group of mana burn monsters and still take no damage after energy shield is lost) you can just teleport all the way to countess, her minions are cold immune and she is fire/cold immune, so the entire last room dies to chain lightning. So if you really want to be able to kill everything, you can make a rotation where you kill Countess and Arcane Sanctuary until you have the runes for infinity. I prefer 3-way Arcane Sanctuary as I don't like all the vertical columns that block the ranged abilities that one of the ways have.

ok i have an idea for ya. is it viable at all or even fun to make a Strafe zon using all possible effect on striking. stack as much as possible so she drops hydras and chain lighting and all kinds on every shot.

All the gear seems pretty cheap, except the 2 SoJs. I think you can swap them with 2x Manald Heal (20% mana regen) Ora raven frost (cold Absorb), Carrion Wind (10% damage to mana), Nature`s peace (flat damage reduction), etc... Infernostride, guardian angel, frostburn, thundergod, rising sun, are super cheap. A perfect Crown of Ages is around 3 Ist (Vex), you can get a cheaper version by equipping Rockstopper, a low vampire gaze or a Shako. Charms are super cheap too...just get life / mana / resistences / FHR etc...

I think Frozen armor would be a good adjustment, better because the def is not that much lower and it would completely stop the enemies from attacking you everytime they would be able to tuch you so it would add up an other damage reduction overtime... I would be curious to see this build tanking a double pack of unique ghost into arcane or the vipers into nilhatak temple 😃

How's about a thorns type build where every item has damage dealt to attackers like Swordback Hold. Even use a pally with maxed thorns for most effect. Feel free to have a variation with all AFK damage like Dream and Hand of Justice

The insight's meditation aura also doubles up the effect of the prayer aura as well. Poison does not damage then!

Yo try the ias bug amd hit 2 frames on druid. You can hit higher break points way easier now. At 2 frames.your hitting 12 hits per second.

I think flat damage reduction happens before the %. so with 90% a 1000 hit would be 100 vs 97.2 if you also have 28 flat DR. But flat DR is great for a bunch of small hits like the viper clouds in the halls of vaught. Also why not get max block >< it is the most efficient damage reduction possible. 75% is max. If you had 75% block chance (instead of 65%) you would be reducing your melee/ranged damage taken by another 30%. (35/25=1.4). 30% damage reduction is a pretty big oversight, especially when it costs you about 15-20 more dexterity. Good video though! Like your stuff!

What's the best build for Hell Sorceress? It was very hard for me to run over Travincal with my Frozen orb / Firewall Sorceress because the concil had a lot of inmunities and resistances.

make a super strong merc, Blizzard sorcs best for it. A strong merc is fairly easy to make. Andys, Treachery, Eth CV/CA/Thresher Insight with high ED roll. make sure you proc the fade on treachery first though. just mf something else first and it'll likely activate. Otherwise you're looking at a stupidly expesive infinity light sorc build to kill trav.

probably not. Mephisto and Lilith would tear it apart i think because of their poison damage. the others shouldn't be too much of an issue, maybe baal due to his massive mana burn attack and spawning ghosts with mana burn as well. diablo duriel and izzy shouldn't be any issue though.

If you're that hard to kill even without energy shield, why even have energy shield? You could use those points for frozen orb or to max your fire mastery and raise static field a few levels
