The artifical horizon is like that on multiple Russian planes, such as MiG-15, MiG-17 and some that are not in the game too (Yak-52 for example). It's actually an intended "feature" and the thing works properly as it should, just... not in a way we're used to.

The missing crew member thing is also present on several WWII British aircrafts. Also for some reason british aicrafts seem to suffer alot of incomplete module modelling, as often oil tanks, oil coolings or crew members will be missing or some 20mm guns will both have a drum as well as a belt with box.

@@chaosinhd1823 most tanks in the game use electric assistance for traversing the turret. If the engine shuts off and no energy is available the turret will be hand cranked, thus traversing slower. Tanks that don't have electric turret traverse in the first place, like the T-50, won't get slower if it runs out of power.

Those are not solar panels (or at least they should not be). They are mirrors that focus the sun on the top of the central tower. This heats water, that can then be used for power or heating.

This might be useful for some. If you have well populated tech trees and are struggling to identify new lower vehicles that have been added but not fully researched yet, go to one of your current vehicles in research and click on boost research. You can then cycle through different nations and different trees to see all of the vehicles that are currently available for research. I quite often do this after a new patch to save me hunting for them

3:36 if your engine has taken any damage and you belly land slow enough, sometimes your propellers will be fine clientside too! And, on the Wyvern, when coming in for a slow landing, the plane can rest on the airbrakes and won't fold its propeller. Propeller damage doesn't affect the jet engine inside at all. 6:09 Previously the Ruhr air map could spawn Gepards and M163's at 3.7 (possibly lower) but it's been fixed to be reasonable vehicles, like Ostwinds. Real damage models for tanks are on loads of maps now, and critical hits from daily tasks count towards them too.

When he says that on that map you can destroy the solar panels those are not solar panels those are giant mirrors that reflect sunlight to the top of the tower that heats up water and turns it into stew which turns a turbine and creates electricity i like to call those kinds of power plants bird killers or bird cookers because birds sometimes fly into that solar plants and the immense heat from all that sunlight being directed at them burns them mid air so just a slight misconception

9:20 playing on console will also not automatically adjust the aim of your gun using a laser rangefinder regardless of what vehicle you are using. In fact on PC, you can scroll your wheel to manually adjust elevation of your gun while continuously aiming at a certain point to see your target, this feature doesn’t exist on the console version of the game and you must manually aim up and attempt to align the lines on the left to adjust your aim for long range operations

on the tunisia map, on the left hand side of the A point, there is an absolutely filthy spot inside the village. it is just on the west most end of the cap point, and is surrounded by buildings on 3 sides. go into custom to find it. the enemy can only find you going one of 2 directions, badly angled and most likely by accident. if you find it early and hold it effectively enough, you can prevent the enemy team from capping for up to 5 minutes

I was trying to put decals on a tank recently and was annoyed that it was dark, so I tried a different method of changing the time of day and it worked. All I did was go into test drive and then leave, and I came back to a hangar lit by the sun :)

Some war thunder jets now have staged afterburners modeled, but the visual model is the same. You can see if it has a staged afterburner by binding throttle to scroll wheel and going one tick above 100%. If the fuel flow is less than it should be on full afterburn, the jet has a staged afterburner. You can try this for yourself on the Mig21 smt and bis.

Fun fact. i am a pilot and i have flown both jets and turboprops that have that AH configuration It was once used for naval fighters as the blue ocean was more intuitive and it used to be kinda common, the russians did it too for some planes. but over time everyone adopted the british AH which is the Brown or yellow ground and blue sky Kinda weird but also kinda interesting

One of the things I never saw mentioned in here it the "Puppy Protection" for new players. I'm not 100% sure though how long it extends and whether it extends for all weapon systems. But you can make the most of it, by going through all the nations reserve planes and work up some proficiency. What I'm also not 100% sure is, if it ends when you researched you first BR 2.0 or Rank II plane/vehicle. By making a beeline to your most iconic vehicle, you are actually getting out of it pretty fast.

Also, On the Romanian version of the HS 129 B, on the tail, it is written (in Romanian of course) "Hai Fetit-o" Which means "Come on girl"
