the 1995 movie Toy Story, Woody says, "There's a snake in my boot". But the boot in the UK is a car trunk so it picks up all the car lines. There’s also the play on 18 plate and weight plates at the gym.

Could you explain the 18 plate?
@spcphd4 ай бұрын
@@EuronBulle it has to do with the year the car was registered, which appears on the license plate in the UK. I’m assuming an 18 plate is a 2018 car.

Great reaction is always guys. What I will say as being a long time fan of Pete and Bas, they sound very similar to their grandchildren simply because they help each other obviously. I know y'all haven't really done too much lately but I would definitely say to check out the quick little mixtape that the gents did as of course it's produced by these two and of course others have helped. The point of it is it's all good and it's all enjoyable I have the mixtape myself on my playlist and I like just about every single song and because they have other guys in it like PKJ and Norman, just because these guys are old doesn't mean they don't have talent. It is fascinating to watch the different dynamics. Also, if you go back and look at their older stuff you can tell how both have progressed over time with the help of these guys and it is fun to watch as well as experience so even if you don't do too many more reactions with Pete and Bas, unless something new comes out in the meantime, I would definitely say to just check more stuff out and listen or even just find the lyrics. I've been watching people react to them for the past couple years and for quite a few I do just drop the lyrics especially on the ones that don't have them. Also if you really want to know to sometimes it's going on with them they all have Instagram and Facebook and Twitter and they post on all three regularly.

This is fun, easy A but I’m still wrapped up in the feeling of Pecan Pie. I’ve listened to that song WAY too many times now, and the writing on this is undeniably TOP TIER rap. Anyone saying these boys couldn’t write Pete and Bas is just not paying enough attention. These bars are SO much more dense than I ever expected, especially after 3-4 listens. Simple flow but perfect inflection and sick word play make it fun to listen to, whether you are listening to the lyrical FLEXING! It took me a month to listen carefully to everything over and over, but that track has HAUNTED ME! It’s like a magician’s trick. They’re even dropping Easter eggs in the video yo. They WANT you to think this just another banger but they are dropping some sophisticated lyricism. I never thought I’d be saying this about 2 English boys rapping about cars, guns and women but this is low-key lyrical art at its finest. I love the way they’re playing it too, lends weight to my assumption that they are approaching this with more intelligence and intent than their peers. Don’t forget… Em wrote, “Things just ain’t the same for gangstas” for Dre. These two guys are FULLY CAPABLE OF WRITING EVERY WORD FOR PETE AND BAS! Whether or not they did, I couldn’t care less now. They got a winning hand, good on them playing it close to the chest. Yo, Nine and Dex, I’m tapped in now but my blood sugar is getting a lil low. GET BACK IN THE KITCHEN, I NEED SOME MORE PECAN PIE!! Btw, Bish Bash Bosh🔥🔥🔥🔥

Nine and Dex are 91Shots and Handsome Dexter, the producers behind Pete and Bas, Norman Pain, and PKJ. They're not really their grandkids, but they are their production team, and the brains behind them. That doesn't mean Pete and Bas don't rap - they do. But it's likely Nine and Dex write most of their lyrics, with Pete and Bas chipping in with ideas and lines. Dex sounds similar to Bas as they're from a similar part of the country, and he'll have likely been the one to initially help him develop his style.

I thought 91 shots was like Pete's grand nephew or something. Dex I thought wasn't related but I thought at least 91 was
@adamcboyd5 ай бұрын
You're half correct. I explained a lot of this in the last video so I will make it short: They may or may not be related. It is easy to understand they produce their stuff besides Fumez. Pete and Bas write their own shit. 100% but if they want to say "gun" but that's not hip enough, then they get a simile from one of them. Have you ever worked with a real producer. They can completely change the songs feel, sound, and even works as it is a collaborative process. Even if your Elvis. I know for a fact as they have been playing music for six years! They are new here and there is a TON of bias and prejudice against them because old people can't write their own rap. Only the youth can put words together like that. Old white dudes can't rap, even though the songs are filled with references that completely go over the youngsters head and old analogies. Old white British men can't WRITE their own lyrics even thought they just went to LA, were seen and posted a photo of writing a song, filmed the video there, and then out comes Bish Bash Bosh a month later. I know it's not intentional buy they aren't Milli Vanilli and it's like saying "The Egyptians didn't build the pyramids because I don't believe they did it." It's insulting to everyone. Just buy a ticket and go see them live. You can't teach that kind of rapping and singing. It's inherent and they just happened to find something they were built to do but just in the sunset of their lives. On top of that, a lot of people have to tear them down like this because they ARE so good and they think that reflects badly on them and that they will never reach that or they're just down right jealous. Anyway, I meant to keep it short but I just don't get how people see it this way when all the evidence, even Pete fucking saying it out loud (so everyone is also calling him a liar at the same time of loving his music) isn't enough. Bias man. It's all bias and prejudice. Like the textbook definition of prejudice whether intentional or not. I hope that helped at least a bit and I'm not calling you out or that you're a bad person or anything so don't come back with that. I am just saying it is an unconscious bias that people feel is a rationalization but its not boss. It's not..

im still not convinced those guys write for pete and bas, pete and bas learned what rap was from hearing these guys rap, it was their inspiration, hypothetically, and if so, of course theyre gonna sound very very similar. but i think pete and bas may still write their lines, may borrow from these guys songs, but i still wanna think theyre writin.
