Back after a 3 week hiatus :). We moved, almost all of the boxes are unpacked, and things are starting to settle down. I filmed this in late June, so I found some time to edit it and post it. My studio equipment is still packed away, and I don't know when I'll be able to film new videos , but this one can keep you company until then :). Lots of love and thanks for your support!

@@OneMusicSchoolAnd I am glad to find you here and hope can learn also to sing with you in that language. Often I sang that Song for many Tourists in Germany, but in German words and with Accordion! And remember that the last Queen of Hawai composed the song over 120 years ago.

This is so beautiful and amazing! I can feel myself in Hawaii. The little sound of the ukulele perfectly reflects the laid back spirit of Hawaii. Though not a Hawaiian myself, I think your pronunciation is really good! I would've never thought you're an American. I'm really loving your rendition of this beautiful song! Thanks for sharing!
The first Hawaiian song I ever heard back in the late 70s. Love it. :) Thanks :) ♥️

🙌🎤Welcome back🎸🙌Thank you for today's future replaying tutoring:) Love how you can teach the freedom to search out our own musical essence in our own time, until we meet again (thanks KZbin notifications:) Hawaiian essence playing that totally tidal strumming pattern made this day thank you Katie. C-ing the sea, F-eeling the C alm and G7 to C-reates melodies refreshing. My goodness music heart katie, when you harmonized that moment, your voice transported me to Hawaiian sunrise shores. Love hearing & feeling God's whispered roarings, sung gentle in song! Yeah this is a forever practicing peace song. Your teachings inspire thoughtful musical thinking's about letting go by trusting the flow in our own personal music nature unique. Truly that's when I hear God singing "Yes"! and I say thank you "As You wish" Blessed days 🙏💕🎶🎤🎸🎶💕🙏

Hi, I enjoyed your play along, thks. There's a chord error written on the 4th line although you played correctly. It should be F G7 C instead of G7 F C. .

Hello Katie, Thank you very much for this beautiful music! Your voice is so nice. I’m hesitant to mention that I think I noticed something wrong in the chord tabs. At ‘āhihi you wrote G7 for two beats, and at lehua it says F for two beats. Shouldn’t that be reversed? This is the same in the part where you hum. I am sorry to correct you... I love your channel and have learned a lot from your lessons. Mahalo!
