Greg comments on his time in Labrador, Canada on the Alone Frozen show and shares footage of his gear and the other competitors before they ventured out into the harsh and unforgiving Canadian wilderness.
Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.

I don't understand how you can get ready for the show. Do all that preparedness sign up and agree to do the show? And then quit after 5 days. That makes no sense to me at all. That 1. Dude, that went home after 5 days. What was he even there for and then he tries to justify it by saying he's starting a new chapter of his life. He's not considering it quitting that's a lot of crapit was a complete waste of the show's time and the fans of the show's time, it was very frustrating for me as of year to see somebody have that opportunity and just walk away after 5 days, not even trying. He should have never did it in the first place.

I'm a big fan and of course I was rooting for you big time! When you left, I was bummed and really didn't want to watch the show any further. To be completely honest, I was a bit disappointed ... sort of like my hero letting me down :) . Dont take that harshly, I get the whole mental health thing and I've heard it so many times... I've suffered from it as well but there are just people who you expect to be better than most. You knew what it was going to be like before going on the show so why go? Did they pay you to participate?

Gregg's bush skill's I don't think were that good because he didn't build a proper shelter to keep himself from the elements. And he didn't have two many idea's on how to catch game to keep himself fed. And it didn't take him very long to lose hope to stay in the game.
