Awesome shot Christina where you get into your canoe and start paddling... it looked as if you were paddling into a post card. Mighty fine looking steak there. looked delicious... Dennis, Canoehound Adventures

Your music while eating that beautiful steak was bang on girl! Love your videos! You so effectively remind me why going solo is so appealing.❤️ I”m just back this aft. from touring the shoreline of Deer Lake, just outside of Gravenhurst. Crystal clear water, pristine, undeveloped, large lake. Bushwacked through the woods 600+ m. to get in there, but so worth it. The deer flies were unbelievable, but I still enjoyed the challenge and adventure of checking this lake off my “to do list”

It was disastrous, at one stage with the canoe on my shoulders my Son said "get up Dad". I was up, up to my waist in swamp. It was nuts. But on the far side of that portage we saw amazing sights. It was our best Temagami trip yet. Heading back up on the 26th July for a 7 day trip. Can't wait. 😁

Grill not needed find a flat rock and build a rock oven and put your steak on the flat rock like a frying pan. Mmmm I made ribs and burgers this way.

There are Portable Folding Mosquito Net "Tent" that folds into a tiny flat bundle and weigh about one lb. It pops into shape. when you throw it on the ground. Small one is 200cm * 120cm * 140cm. A bigger one is 200cm * 180cm * 150cm. The Chinese put these on their bed during mosquito season. I got the small one which can comfortable accommodate two folding chairs and I could almost stand inside it. Search Aliexpress.com for images of it.

You have a new subscriber here! Im 46 and finally brave enough to start camping in the wild this year.. I actually plan on a Temagami trip in September of this year and that’s how I found your channel.. it looks so beautiful. I can’t wait.. do you have to reserve the sites where your camping there? If so , where can I make the reservation ?I’ve heard that some of Temagami is crown land..

Jeff Mcilroy Hi Jeff! Sorry for the late reply. I was in Temagami again this past weekend. It’s a beautiful place and no you don’t have to reserve. It’s crownland. Msg me if I can help with any other questions. facebook.com/camperchristina/

Hi Christina, I'm planning a trip next summer starting from Matagamasi like you. On Ottertooth. com it says there's problems with vandalism at the put in where you park. Did you have any problem and were there a lot of vehicles there given it was around Canada day?
@CamperChristina4 жыл бұрын
Rodd Taylor hi Rodd. That’s great. Will you be doing the whole loop as well or a different route? There were maybe five cars parked there and I didn’t have any issues. I know a few people that have used that access this year and haven’t had issues but other than that I can’t say any more. Sorry. Thanks for watching and commenting. I will be presenting on all of my trips at the outdoor adventure show next month. Maybe I’ll see you there ? 😊

@@CamperChristina Hiya, I'm thinking of doing at least 2 weeks so I'll see a lot of the lakes. Last year I did 6 days in Donald, this time I want to see a lot more. I envy you living in Ontario. I can just get back once a year from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Rodd Taylor oh wow. That’s a bit of a distance. Good for you for making the journey. Lmk if I can help at all. I’ll be heading to Donald this year I hope. I aimed for it last year but ran out of time. Cheers !!!
