Alone in the Mountains for the First Time ⛰️ Solo Hike in Austria

I have wanted to try solo hiking for a long time, and a few days ago, I finally took the train to the Alps and spent some precious time in solitude. And even though I don't go hiking as much as I want, I enjoy it every time and want to return to the mountains sooner.

Looks like an amazing hike! Just one beautiful sight after another. Thank you for taking the time to film and share it! I went on my first overnight solo hike too this summer, in a bog in Estonia. Since the weather was quite warm and I needed to pack light, I decided to sleep under the stars without a tent. It was a bit scary at first (and a bit cold), but I felt such awe when looking at the amazingly starry sky. Even saw shooting stars (it was during the Perseid meteor shower in August). I really wanna go solo hiking again next summer, when the weather is warmer again.

Looks like you can get lost out there by yourself. A little scary. 😊pretty

Yes maybe, but the paths are marked well and so if you are not in high snow (and therefore lose the path) you can't really get lost because every 30 minutes or sow there are signs telling you which peaks, huts, villages etc. Are in which direction and how long it takes to get there 😊 (and gps navigation works pretty well too!)

It was in Tirol and the hut I went to was the Landsberger Hütte. I loved the region and there are plenty of different options to get to the hut and hike the surrounding mountains 😊
