You all have got me believing in signs now. Oh I hope you enjoy me talking about the meaning behind what I found...and I had a feeling it was for you all too!!! PS: 12/20 I delivered John's gift and poem today to him. He said a short thank you and I felt pretty good...I turned to walk to my car and before I got there he had followed me there...he said " Be careful going home you hear? You are a terrible driver "....and he teared up and walked away.

I guess your video was a sign for me. My husband, John, passed away on the night of December 5th. I know I was blessed because I was able to be at his side, holding his hand and telling him how much I love him. We were together for over 54 years and I'll always be grateful for that. I now have his memories and I will always cherish them. Love the people in your life with all your heart because you never know what tomorrow will hold. Oh my dear friend Susan: it's been a horrible 2020 for me & Hubby. My health turned me to be so frighten to do anything. 07/23, without any symptoms. I had double pneumonia, severe srptis, extremely dangerous chemical the proved I had a heart attack (mild) but scary enough to be aware this could happen to others We lost our seven year old German Shepherd, unexpectedly on 10/03. We are still mourning his loss. I've missed you so much and that includes DESI. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! Happy Holidays🤶🏻🎅🏼🎄⛄️ the picture truly was so touching to my soul.

I was divorced at age 28, and stayed on my own with my daughter after that, usually Christmas day was partly spent alone my daughter spent half a day with me and the other half plus boxing day with her dad, I have gotten used to spending Christmas alone and now would prefer it, I plan my meals I don't like traditional chrismas fayre so I eat a lovely vegan breakfast and lunch I watch films and go for a walk, at times I have done d I y, it's something I now cherish it's my day I can do what I want 🙏❤️

Thank you for this timely video. I lost my Mom (87yr) last Monday, December 14. I was able to send the last 3 hours of her well lived life. My Mom, Stella, loved decorating every room for Christmas. She never lost sight of the meaning, of this special time, Christ’s birth. I feel blessed to have had that special time with her. It has been one grim year, that's for sure. I lost my older sister--my one sibling--and my last living aunt. And then a friend died unexpectedly in her apartment here in NYC and wasn't found for days. None of these deaths was Covid-related, though I know my friend, who was single, was feeling especially lonely and I'm guessing it was a contributing factor. And no funerals were possible due to Covid, none of those comforting rituals. But I'm here, you're here, we survived, as you say. I'm a few years older than you--70--and I resolve to take inspiration from your creative and soulful approach to life. I very much need that inspiration! My best to you and Desi and your family and I hope that grumpy old man appreciates your lovely star!

Every time you mention your darling pup I feel my father. His name was Desmond....and was called Des. He was a door to door milkman for 32 years in our small town...was loved by so many. He came to live with me the last four years of his life. I was a sad widow and it was a priviledge to have him with me. Susan...I knew it the minute you said the Teddy Bear wreath looked like Desi that you were going to take it home. I laughed out loud through the tears in my eyes when I first saw it on your chair. The D. Morgan print was a sweet sign for me...I have three of her prints...you are sending me on a mission to find the one your purchased...for my daughter. It is magical...just like your videos. I view your videos as my weekly therapy sessions - in a good way. One of her prints is a Victorian home...it is sweet and nostalgic...and I have it in my kitchen. The first part of her passage are, "I hear your footsteps down the hall. You're home again and safe. ..." That's what home has been to so many in 2020...our safe and warm haven. Oh, I could go on...but...just know that I/we adore you and Desi and even John, your neighbor who is fortunate that you have him in your thoughts and prayers....have a lovely Christmas and enjoy this first year in your beautiful new home. This year has been a challenge to so many of us, me included. I’ve decided on my word for 2021 and that’s reclamation; I’m going to reclaim myself in 2021 - I hope that makes sense to everyone, but I feel like I’d lost something of myself in 2020 and I want to find it again.

I have a shelf of them from when I was young til now. I kept all my favorites. Does anyone have any idea how to clean them? Take them all to be dry cleaned? I've vacuumed them all but still pretty dirty. And the white lambs, etc, have turned very grey. Some still have tags on them, they are all from medium brown teddy bears to white/dark grays, all lined up so pretty in my dark grey walls, white wood trim from top to bottom, and even white wooden valances above the drapes in pale, pink silk drapes.. Everything is in pale pink, white, roses, and white cotton sheer panels. So they look too pretty to move. Had hoped to give them to my 2 young grand daughters but their mom's would just throw away or box up! Or throw them in washer. Everything I give them must be washed to death before they can touch them. So, I've decided to keep them because they make me very happy!

@@dannagordon9618 I Have Washed Many Stuffed-Animal's, In My Washer. They "Turn-Out" like Brand NEW. The Much Older One's, with the Real Thick Stuffing, I would Not Wash. You might Try Wool-Iite. Not sure if the Cleaner"s would Do it.

I love that print Susan...it's beautiful. I'm so glad you got it. I'm going to have to look up that artist as I live very near there. I so wish you could be in the South with us. You would love it so much. I have never ever appreciated where I live more than I have this year. I promise you this Suze, some very needed change is coming and we will have our lives back. I am so very blessed to have reached back to watch this video , I am meeting my older sister who lost her husband last yr after 48 yrs , who also lost her son many yrs ago .thank you Susan for sharing about giving , to difficult neighbors , and the artist you researched how beautiful . Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! I truly believe that in 2021 we will emerge stronger and more aware of what is really important in life....faith, family & friends and living in the present, not always looking back or looking ahead......but just simply being present. I lost a son in the military in 2006 and I totally understand & agree with everything you said Susan in this video & D Morgan.......we do deal with grief in our own way & our own time.....there is no right or wrong way.....we find our own way through the grief & loss. HUGS to everyone who will be alone this Christmas or those who have lost a loved one......these times of year are very hard for us. If we can find a way to celebrate their life & the time they were with us, it makes the holiday special because love never dies and that bond is always with us. If you are alone, do something special for yourself to celebrate and do something for someone else who may be feeling alone too. Whether it is a phone call, a card or note or a Secret Santa gift left by their door. We feel JOY by spreading & sharing JOY with others. God bless you all!!

Boy, you have a great thrift store! Mine is full of junk! Girl, you make me cry every time I watch your videos. You are the most kind, authentic person, and I so appreciate the words you share with us. I had covid this year and I have never been more sick in my life. It has left me with lung damage where I have to use supplemental oxygen. But I am alive, and my husband is alive (he had it too) and I have so many things to be thankful for, and one of them is you. I really loved all your finds, the painting and the bird candle stick holder were both so beautiful , and hope the star gives your once friend some peace and maybe opens the door to your friendship again. Thank you to all you wonderful ladies for your kind, loving, caring words and prayers. You have touched my heart with your kindness. Linda, I am very sorry that you lost your husband and your son only months apart. That was devastating. I too know what its like to lose a son. Our oldest passed away fifteen years ago. It gives me comfort now to know that father and son are together again. To all who have lost a close loved one, I send my prayers. Susan, thank you for your wonderful channel. Aaaah you brought the bear home! I have read so many comments of loss here tonight. To those of you who have lost someone, who are alone this Christmas. It does get better, it's not easy but it does. I've been there, I'm still there. Please know we are out here & sending you love, peace & hugs. I like to spend these holidays in quiet reflection, remembering all the great times. There are tears but then a smile too. And Susan you're right, we will get thru this, helping each other along the way. I love how we all have a different story. We share we grow we laugh.
