Hi Cassie! We just got 2 kittens, and my 7 month year old Stella constantly tries to come inside when the door is closed. Meowing, put her paw under the door, doing what she can to come in when I'm working, and especially when I'm eating. So, really, I feel a kinship with you, lol. Thank you for sharing a meal with me. Cassie you're tripping! This has been the longest fall I can remember in my whole life (MN resident for nearly 40 years lol). I feel like we had fall from September till last week, which is super long here! I remember being a kid and it'd snow like at least a month earlier than it does now and it'd be pretty cold already in September. We were lucky to have a month of fall. Maybe the twin cities are really that different from central MN or something but I really feel like we've been spoiled by long falls this past couple of years.

Gardein crumbles are what I think she uses and what I use when making sloppy Joe's. I also use impossible meat the lower fat one for this and spaghetti.

@ impossible meat would taste closest to ground beef. Gardein kind of tastes bland on its own. it is good taking on flavors of sauces. I also like using it in chilli.

Impossible is the most authentic replacement IMO. Just cook it up like you would beef-thought “browning” it and letting it simmer takes only like 5-10 mins. Impossible is best when it isn’t overcooked.

Impossible “meat” is so much better than Gardein. I can’t stand how oily the Gardien products are.

Am I the only one that’s never tried a sloppy Joe lol, my boyfriend and I are making roasted cauliflower with capers, garlic🧄 soy sauce, lemon🍋 and chili flakes🌶️ is so delicious only those ingredients it can be a little sour but can be toned down to your liking with water. he also got Scalloped potatoes instead of homemade mashed potatoes. they are from Costco and are so delicious and easy to bake in the oven I believe they can also get microwaved that is how they sample them at Costco. He’s also making Mac n cheese from scratch Happy Thanksgiving🍽 🍁 🦃
