Cass just some skincare advice here: when you're removing your makeup please be much more gentle with the skin near your eyes! The first two problems in any relationship are: Miscommunication Lack of discussing financial issues (after dating or getting serious) Two things that totally ruin any relationship. Video chatting does not sound fun at all. It is best to meet in person (when things are better in this world). It is also best to be straightforward honest from the “get go”. The words may sting for a moment or two but they are honest words. The eye makeup removal was painful to watch. Gently treat this tender area a little better Cassie. 😎❤️💄Kathy

Hey Cass! 30ish year old here, single for 4 years, and recently decided to start dating again during this “love in the time of Covid” craziness. Ive been talking to a guy for the past 1.5 months and we’ve never met in real life yet. He only lives 20mins away and we will meet soon, but we’ve done all our dates via video chat so far. So I can relate. I thought it was pretty sh!tty that this guy stood you up on the 2nd attempt at a video date. I think that the first time the date plan fell thru was a genuine case of miscommunication (although I’m still sorta skeptical as to why this guy didn’t make sure to confirm the date/time 🙄) But the 2nd time when he postponed the date DAY OF because he decided other plans sounded better?! Come on!! First dates are still first dates, even if via video. Would you have accepted him ditching you the day-of your first in-person date because he wanted to go out with friends?? Being treated with respect and setting boundaries SHOULDNT CHANGE JUST BECAUSE OUR DATING LIVES CHANGED MEDIUMS!! Remember your worth, girl!!

Greta M I totally agree with you Greta! We need to stop making excuses for these losers and hold them to the standards that we hold ourselves to! This man is in his 30s... by now he should know how to confirm a date (at least the morning-of at the latest!), and he should know that changing plans HOURS before the first date is inexcusable (except for legitimate reasons, like cases of emergency, which last minute plans of whirly-ball or disk-golf or whatever with the buddies doesn’t meet that threshold). The fact that he tried to “reschedule” the date to 10pm that same evening isn’t effort at all... it’s breadcrumbing... it’s selfish and it’s just him putting in the lowest form of effort to ensure he’s staying relevant to Cassie. And if he is a 30 year old “clueless” man (eye roll as I’m saying that), then fine... he should learn to get a clue, but not at another person’s time or expense.
@Shay2theT4 жыл бұрын
Lejla I totally understand your point with this but it all depends on the kinds of guys you're going for. I've dated a lot of nerdy guys who just aren't experienced daters, not used to receiving much female attention. Some of these guys are the absolute sweetest men ever and will make the right girl super happy but I'm sorry to say, are clueless when it comes to how to impress girls and don't realize how to treat them differently than their bros. It's an immaturity issue for some guys not a deliberate act. Often, they need someone to explain to them how it affects the other person and then they feel like crap. Maybe this guy is a total tool. I'm just saying, I'm glad she didn't write him off immediately because of wanting to do both: talk to her and have fun with his friends.

Sometimes the physical attraction can grow when his personality shines, but yeah there was a couple times I gave someone a chance, cause thats who I am, and it just didn't click. Well my attraction to the 2 guys didn't click. You try, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. And no I just said I wasn't ready yet and missed my single life.

Me and my boyfriend met through playing World of Warcraft together. First time we met late December last year. He lives in the UK and I'm in Sweden so you can imagine it hasn't been easy during this pandemic. We didn't see each other for 4 months. Now I'm planning on moving there. I'm so excited. Never been this sure before in my life. He really is my person :>

In some cultures, families do let their betrothed children meet first in their getting to know phase. Usually with both families present. Which there will be the courtship phase as well, the guy bringing gifts, and other things to impress not just the girl but also the girl's family. In other cultures, the bride and groom do not see each other until the actual wedding ceremony or even their wedding night. The courtship was conducted by the respective families. So it varies.

Our first date was super awkward - I hadn’t dated in literally 10 years and I was bad at holding a conversation. We met online and went to dinner and a movie. Afterwards he got pulled over. He texted me that night and asked me on a second date, and it went much better. The third was even better. This was in 2013. We will have been married 5 years in October ☺️

The best I can say is have your non-negotiables, but keep an open mind. Never did I think I’d be marrying someone 2 years younger than me, yet here we are. He was a smoker and I wasn’t a huge fan, but he quit for good with his kidney transplant thankfully. I was able to look past that and found someone who in every way is my perfect match and we just got engaged a few weeks ago. Wishing you nothing but the best Cassie, this is hard and you take a lot of flack putting this out there to everyone! Just know you’re not alone, I dated for 4 years after a huge breakup and I will be 36 when I’m married for the first time. Everyone has different goals and timelines, and you’ll forge your own path based on what’s right for you. 🖤

I'm just 22 and since some years ago I feel like I'm unable to love anyone or anything. It's really weird to remember how I used to be someone so passionate and all the beatiful things I was able to do thanks to it, but after a tremendous loss it's like my heart has become an iceberg. I'm not desperate to date (loneliness isn't a problem for me) but I really do miss the past me because I used to be so alive... Sometimes I think about the possibility of a special someone "resurecting" myself but since I can't even feel atraction I don't wanna try and hurt somebody innocent. It is normal to feel this way?

I haven't dated in over 16 years so I can't even imagine how hard it is these days. I love that you don't settle for less than you want or deserve. Also, broaden your horizons and try seeing what the older men have to offer. I'd suspect that an older man might be a good fit for you. You are an old soul and an older man can appreciate that. Good luck, girl! XOXO.

Lol! I was thinking that but didn't want to say it. I've always been with guys my age, and agree there was a definite maturity difference, which is kind of endearing ... at first! 😁😂😉 I then lived with a guy 7 years younger than me, and he was more mature than most. My mom's 2nd husband is a year younger than me and they were together over 25 years, until the day she died. He was also very mature and responsible, and everyone thought he was older than her, lol.

I love these videos! I’m single and I’ve tried the dating apps and I just can’t get into it. I find it so weird and unnatural to me..I dont know why?? but I’m at the point where I’m basically done with the apps and if I find someone one day in life I would be happy either way. I get teased at work for it but I’m happy single and being an independent woman. 💁🏼♀️🤍

what are you going to do in daily life, to meet more men?
@Ephesians5-144 жыл бұрын
Raise that age range to 42! Seriously, I'm almost 37, my husband is almost 40. Stereotype alert: men don't mature until at least 35 and honestly, closer to 40. These are stereotypes but if you were my friend, I would encourage you to be open to men in their late 30s and early 40s 💞 also I'm new to your channel, I don't even watch makeup channels honestly. I was just looking for a new foundation for older, dry skin and I ended up adoring your personality 🙏☺️

You will find your person! I met my significant other on tinder...I was swiping out of boredom and had no expectations. He was really nervous on our first date so I thought the date was just OK but I gave him another chance. Here we are a year and a half later, we're engaged and bought a house together! Don't lose hope :)

Very sweet but only people who feel secure in their relationships say that. There is absolutely no guarantee that she will. Now I hope she does because she wants to. But it is honestly super cliche and sadly untrue. Keep in mind this is coming from a person who was with a man for 14 years and married to that same man for almost 9 when he left me. So perhaps I am bitter but I definitely do not believe in that hogwash anymore. Although for me it still led to a happy end. I now have a fulfilling relationship with me. And I can honestly say that its more of a relationship than I have ever had before.

My husband is 4 months younger than me. We didn't marry until we were 33, so the age difference wasn't as noticable. We were still a bit crazy tho, from the day we got together to the day we married was... 7 weeks!! 17 years later and still going strong. Its never all plain sailing but with commitment, compromise and a sense of humour things work themselves out ❤️

I met my husband when I was 32. After years of being single, going on blind dates, trying online dating sites, etc I actually met him at work lol. We both taught at the same school, but I didn't give him the time of day because I thought he was 8 to 10 years younger and he really didn't seem to be my type. I finally decided to go on an outing, not a date, and was pleasantly surprised!!! He's 5 years younger, was ready to get married and have kids...I asked him all these questions on our first "non-date." We've been married for almost 7 years, we have 3 kids, and I rarely feel the age difference. I had to let go of all that I thought I wanted and see what I really needed.

Aw, I'm sorry, Cassie! Maybe he was just nervous and wasn't sure what to say. I know I'm like that with new people! Also, if it makes you feel any better, it was kinda awkward with my boyfriend and I when we first started talking for awhile too, and now, we've been dating for almost 4 years. The guy you're talking to may just not be the one, but it doesn't hurt to give him another chance. Good luck! I hope all goes well! ❤

I always give guys 2 or 3 dates before stopping communication. Be open. You can’t Expect to know a person just after a couple hours of talking. I also am single and trying to navigate how to date during this time. It is very difficult because I am not really comfortable meeting up in person because it’s just not safe. I feel with the right guy I would maybe meet up distanced and masked outside and then if there’s really a connection I would almost suggest we both get tested and go from there
