Making it easier to manually build maps is always great. It would be also really cool to have a feature to easily take a map from google maps, and make that a 7D2D map. So you could play actual areas in the world! That might be a bit advanced though

I'm just glad they are changing things up and compressing houses and poison for better performance I too had 40 fps sometimes also kinda bored with the same strength perks glad to see things getting revamped a bit

I haven't seen anyone talk about this, but the zombie dismemberment is kinda already in A20, if you kill the zombie in the yellow shirt with let say a blunt object on the head his head can cave in. I was wondering why it was only that one model so it's good to see it coming to the rest of them.

The new zombie dismemberment looks amazing. My only concern is with so much extra detail, hoard night may be an even bigger lagfest on lower end PCs. Hopefully they're optimising as much as possible.

We need optimization update...playing on 3080 rtx on medium settings and getting 40fps in large city and huge drops or stuttering is really bad. This it the only game i have problem with on my PC

I feel the vehicle damage is a little too much. It used to be the total opposite, when you drove against a wall as hard as you could and... 1% DAMAGE! They have to find a middle ground for it. I usually try to avoid things with my vehicle, you know like we do in real life so it's not that I bump against everything because laziness. I do hope that one day, because it isn't important, gameplay is far more important, for them to improve the animations of the zombies eating something. It's so dumb to see them ''eat'' something 3 meters away from whatever it is chomping at lol. It really affects the immersion of the game. The deer idea of being infected by the bite is indeed a good idea Reach and makes perfect sense for it to happen ingame. Maybe they will work more on it but we will see. I would like to add to my comment that usually these devs don't really have the greatest PC's for some reason, so it is odd to me to show off your work on the game and then have it go to 10 FPS when you grow a grenade as a show off. It really doesn't make them look good because the performance is the key to this game, if it sucks, you won't get a lot out of it. They keep telling us that the performance has been improved, and I see that a little bit....but god are the cities always an issue especially when you are playing for a while. In my opinion, they should get the best PC they can find and whenever they do the Dev streams, show it on that machine so that it doesn't always look like a large lagfest.

I want to see them do something real like make the game less of a time sink and quit nerfing useful items. Sure the zombies have better animations but how about keeping glass jars and adding more vehicles. It's to the point where i won't even watch vanilla let's plays anymore. They're boring. Modders have made improvements to this game years ago that the nerf pimps are just getting around to and are still far behind the curve on. I see that a lot of people are excited for these changes. I just skip the stream weekends and wait to see which modder comes up with the update for the new Alpha to see what they fix.

They just need to release it. Everyone is so sick of waiting and completely out of content ideas that Glock came out with a 3x3 challenge video and I've seen like a dozen repeats in like two days. Everyone is like "OMFG, an idea! I have nothing, I'm doing this!!!!" Seriously, release it already.

The developers are really milking and taking their sweet time with this game after cashing in millions in sales it’s a scam and they are gonna continue to drip feed and update the graphics every 5 years to meet new standards it’s a terrible cycle that won’t end.

Honestly, there's nothing in this update worth having. We've already locked our dedicated at 20.7 and I would imagine it will stay there for the next year or more, if not longer. Nobody asked for 'randomized stat distribution through looting' and nobody asked for 'let's remove the jars and make a water grind!' It's a shxt update. Plain and simple. Skip it. Wait for 22.
