Wow JB, you somehow are always a step ahead of me on learning about bags! I guess I should ask you then on this older video, hopefully you’ll see it… From the Axium, to the Brown Buffalo, to the Evade and this one featured in this video, to the GR1 and any other bag you’ve tested in this category…. use case, needing a tough as nails bag to lug plates in and can beat up and sometimes use for travel if needed. Does Go Ruck just win in this use case? Thank you so much man, you help me constantly!

These are all very well made to be honest but I know that GORUCK SCARS is tough to beat!
@kozmo78 ай бұрын
@@JBOutside1 yeah… that is what I was thinking. All of these bags seem fantastic but if I’m going to ruck and toss it around with plates and sometimes EDC AI suppose it’s going to be go ruck for me.

It’s called “MagnePatch”. They are listed on the Alpha One Niner but they’re sold out I believe. Easy way to add a patch to any back that doesn’t have a patch panel.

I have a Whitley and a Pathfinder. I believe the reason he didn't go all the way to the bottom on the mesh pocket is so you don't run into items in the front pocket and back pocket protruding into one or the other. I got the 1050 Whitley and it's a little tank.

Different uses and very different bags. That would depend on the use. The Whitley is an ultra-organized EDC bag for someone that loves to have everything in its place and accessible. The PLC20 is a more general, grab and go for lighter EDC.

Another great video! You think this bag will be good for this 5'6," tall, 17" torsoed gal? You enjoying it?
@JBOutside12 жыл бұрын
Enjoying it? Yes. Absolutely. Excellent mobile office set-up for someone on the go. The height of the bag though is pretty tall (18.5") and without load lifters to adjust it sits kinda low.
@seechangenyc2802 жыл бұрын
@@JBOutside1 Thanks so much for responding. You never steer me wrong. Good to know. I figured the lack of load lifters was gonna be an issue. Shame....
@tanyamartinez75416 ай бұрын
@@seechangenyc280 Thought I’d share my own experience with the Whitley. I’m a 5’2” woman with roughly a 15” torso. I recently received the updated Whitley (which I believe is a bit taller than the previous version). When the straps are pulled tight, this pack fits me perfectly. Since this pack is taller than just about every one I own, I kept my hopes low, but it actually carries on my back better than any other large pack I have! The angled straps that sit a few inches below the top of the pack make all the difference. This design makes it so that load lifters aren’t needed. All in all, it works perfectly for me, and I’m inches shorter than you. You should be happy with the Whitley. The only downside is that with the straps pulled tight, the excess of the straps dangles a lot. But I solved that by looping them back into the elastic strap keepers. I love this bag! It’s my new work backpack for all my books and tech gear. Hope this was helpful!
