This honestly looks like a sensible, less overdesigned version of a GR1. Seems like a great bag that doesn't even ask you to brag about it.

I have CPL24's. In your opinion, do you prefer this bag to that one? I love black multicam and I'm looking for a new bag, that's my driver for the question.

Does anyone know if the side water pouches have any sort of elasticity on the mouth of the pouch? Or any other form of retention for water bottles?

I'm back and forth between this pack and the Aer City pack Pro.. Or even the new Aer Pro Pack 21.. Any suggestions from anyone who's used aer products?
@jtinseoul7041 Жыл бұрын
Hi! JT from the video, here. I've used both and they act very similar in use. For me, the straps on the Whitley are a little more comfortable and I like the colourway options and orange liner quite a bit. The AER is also nice, and features more eco-friendly materials. I would say the biggest difference between these two bags are the placement of the laptop compartments. The laptop compartment on the AER is separate from the main compartment. For some people, this is a must so it makes a lot more sense for them to go with the AER. We have some content on the AER coming up soon, stay tuned ;) -JT

JT, since you're in Korea, what foldable phone are you using? The camera layout didn't look like the Fold.
@jtinseoul70412 жыл бұрын
Heya! It's the Fold 2. Haven't really felt the need to upgrade it yet. Maybe I'll grab the 5 next year.

Been using the 1050D Whitley for about a week, gave my Pathfinder to my best friend.
@AP-sc2cz Жыл бұрын
Ugh why? The Pathfinder is the better bag unless it was overkill for your needs / too big.

@@AP-sc2cz better bag? iyou're high. 1.5 > whitley > pathfinder after multiple trips to europe

Want to Buy this bag, on your trips to Europe did you happen to fly British Airways? Curious if it'll fly as a personal item..

Will this one stand up on its own? If packed reasonably of course.

Yep, for sure. It's a great stander haha.

How does the size compare to an A19 Evade?
@jtinseoul70412 жыл бұрын
It's definitely a little smaller. The Recon 9 (Evade 1.0) in the video is smaller than the current Evade 1.5. I'd say the main compartment in this bag is of similar size to the Evade but it doesn't have the external laptop compartment on the back. It's probably a similar size to the Evade lite. The top shape makes it pack a little more efficiently in my opinion, however.

@@jtinseoul7041 hey how does it compare when worn on the back with the evade 1.5 lite though. I’m not exactly a big built person so I don’t want to look like I’m going for a holiday when I’m at the office or park.
