I bought mine a month ago. I was surprised about how little there is on youtube about this machine. Never strung a racquet before, used twice, no problem so far. I can only get better. The machine is incredibly solid and sturdy. Being heavy is only a good thing. When you tie the knots you need weight to support the pull. Well done!

Generally, I feel this machine is in a weird middle ground that's below machines such as NEOS 1000 which used to be high end and common, and above entry level machines like the Klippermate, Gamma X-2, and Gamma Progression II.

I was going to let you know that "pawl" is the technical term for the "lock" you referred to, but I see that Joe has beaten me to it! LOL

Those newer model "K" side supports have less room between it and the frame of the racquet than the old ones. Do you have any trouble threading the string between the side support and the frame when threading the crosses?
