Fatal push is so expensive because its arguably the best card in the set (not the most expensive) but incredibly short printed. 1 per box or at most 2 unless you're lucky. So $5 or $70 from packs? I'd personally sell it for closer to $10.

You're confusing product sells with secondary market. The product could be selling extremely well but the reason the secondary market for AR is weak is because people don't like pre-ordering cards that might or might not see standard play. A good portion of players wait to see what cards do damage in tournaments, then they move in and get their playsets or spec. Which then naturally makes prices spike. And then after the pro tour is when you have a general idea of what cards are the most playable and therefore valuable. This is nothing new, it has happened with every set before. The only difference is that we don't have a 50$ overhyped planeswalker this time around and that Fatal Push, an uncommon is more valuable than most rares in the set on pre-release. That's unusual but it won't last.

Prices will for sure change very soon. I predict 3 out of 5 expertises (black, white and blue) will see tons of play in standard, frontier and possibly in modern. Spire of Industry could easily go up to 15$ range like Mana Confluence was when it was in standard. I like Sram, Kari Zev and Rishka for standard, they're all very strong creatures. Indomitable Creativity, Whir of Invention and Inspiring Statuary are just waiting to be broken. Walking Balista, Hope of Ghirapur and Metallic Mimic are worth keeping an eye on simply because they're artifacts and therefore can go in a lot of different strategies and could see play in older formats. But the mythics are no good. I can't think of a single mythic that I would be excited to open aside from maybe Herald of Anguish and Indomitable Creativity. I don't like the planeswalkers too much or the Heart of Kiran. I don't think that's what standard will be about. And many commons and uncommons besides Fatal Push will be quite pricey in foil. So I think overall it will be a pretty good set after the pro tour.

Final Darkness Samurai the FOW box prices are stable because there is still a strong primary market that plays and the game is very strong in Japan. But aside from the Uber rares and the current set's rulers there is no value in boxes to maintain a secondary market.

You keep talking about the low financial value of the rares in this set, but I think that this is a result of players becoming more savvy rather than a low value or power level of the set. People were tired of preordering a bunch of cards at $20-$40 only to see those cards crash in value due to lack of play. Now, players want to wait and see what cards actually perform well before buying them; thus, I think the true value of the cards in this set (minus fatal push, because it's obviously good in multiple formats) won't be truly evident until after some Aether Revolt Standard tournaments, and particularly PT Aether Revolt.

Rudy....Lighting Helix in the Original Ravinca block was the power uncommon that still holds weight. There's always one every few years. Let's just hope people don't abuse the shit out of it and get it banned. This set is so bad for financial value. There's ONE, count it ONE card worth more than $10 in the entire set (Heart of Kiran) and it's $20. There's no way the EV for a box of AER is even close to $80.

test name the dreadnaught is a crew 6, 7/11 that can be chump blocked while the colossus is a crew 4, 6/6 that for two more mana can turn another creature into a vehicle. So if you pay the extra cost you could use the colossus to crew 1 dreadnaught and bring the other to life and swing in with two 7/ 11's. Or crew something better that has trample or something like that.

Correct. Basic lands are usually only made in the first set of a block, which is also why the first set is almost always bigger, since there's often 15 cards worth of basic lands in the first set (sometimes even 25 like with BFZ)
