13:17 This comment made me look and confirm a suspicion that's been in the back of my mind since Amonket's release. There's a very specific reason why Petals of Insight looks crisper and sharper than newer cards. 99% of the cards in Amonket are drawin with this very Photoshop-y, semi-realistic painted style. Practically every single one. They aren't stylistically identical but they're all done within the same sort of genre, which make things look softer and less graphic. That isn't a bad thing necessarily, but for me all of the card arts just kind of mesh together. It's fine having a look for your set but IMO it's way too homogeneous to be interesting.

do you know what that means? all foils are the same. they take a blank foil (just a card that is all foil) then they ink ontop of it. so they're all identical, just depends on what ink they subtract from the original artwork. so "foiling" isn't a thing, they remove ink and it reveals the standard foil all foil cards use behind it

Foil wont be worth much in a few years. The only thing that seperates Magic from the rare baseball/sports cards that crashed in value is...PLAYABILITY Foils dont add much playability. Eventually people will realize this, just as they did with sports cards.

If you're not affiliated with WOTC WPN, why do you have to abide by the no sealed product overseas distribution stipulation? You buy product from a third party dist. You are in no way obligated to any stipulations WOTC sets for game stores, you do not need a play area etc. Once you buy that product that product is yours and you're free to ship it across state, nation-state or even intergalactic lines on a whim. You're an end-user not an offical dist. in the eyes of wizards, you're a consumer and the dist. you buy from is the retail outlet you purchase from. The cards are yours to do as you wish. Also your Modern Masters box is outside of the 24-month window that is a no-int shipping clause in the WPN contract so even if you WERE or DESIRED to be WPN recognized MM1 would have been outside the no-ship limitation

He cannot reproduce it and sell it IE make litiographs of the art or make counterfeit cards. But he can sell it anywhere in the world at any price and do whatever he wishes with it at any given moment. That goes for everyone. You can legally burn/destroy all your magic cards. I can legally buy a booster and ship it to canada or japan. doesn't matter.
